We are on septic. We had a drain back up which I assumed was just a clogged pipe. It was that, and a lot more. Root Rooter was on site within two hours. The problem was diagnosed and fixed. The price was reasonable, especially considering how quickly they responded.

But they did more. They check out septic tank and discovered another clog in the septic system. Toto rooter recommended Evergreen On-Site fir the septic problem. They came out the next day and solved that problem. All in all, we had two honest contractors who did what needed to be done at prices they quoted in their estimates.

End result: the bathtub drain was cleared and the technician was efficient and pleasant. He was great. The rest of it wasn't.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I called in the morning and made an appointment window time for 3-7pm that same day. I went out of my way to make certain I'd be home that entire time. At 6:30pm, I called and asked what the status was. The man in the call center said he wished he could tell me someone would be out soon, but 8:30pm would be maybe the soonest possible and it was a crazy day. He acted like this was perfectly normal and totally fine. I told him this was our only bathtub! He was incredulous about it being our only bathtub and implied I ought to have a second bathroom in my house.

I rescheduled for the following morning and asked what a general estimate would be for just snaking the bathtub drain. He said he couldn't even give me an estimate because it was all case by case. I can understand this, so after the call I looked online to try to figure out how much to expect. People were quoting the neighborhood of $200 for just snaking the drain, so I decided this would be good enough and kept the appointment for the next day.

The next morning, the tech arrived in good time and was very helpful and pleasant. He told me they always charge a flat fee for snaking drains and that it would be $450. WHAT?! Why wouldn't the guy on the phone earlier tell me about a FLAT RATE? Because he knew I'd go somewhere else, of course. That is too expensive for a simple snake job.

I wrote to them to complain. I eventually got a call back message from someone implying they could maybe help me feel better about the whole situation. I called him back and left another message and haven't heard a word.

I'll never use their service again.

I found Roto Rooter online and called the number.

I told them all I needed was a flush valve. I asked how much it would be and they said they would have to take a look at the toilet when they came out. I tried to press them for a price and they wouldn't give one.

So they come out and they informed me that not only do I need a new flush valve but it's better for me just to get an entire new toilet and entire new parts for inside the toilet. This makes no sense at all!! They say it's going to cost me oner $400.

I decide not to do it, I then called tri-city plumbing from Anacortes. They come out and all I needed was a simple little seal. They replaced within five minutes with minimal charge.

Do not use Roto Rooter, not trustworthy at all.

Wonderful plumbing professionals! I have called this location twice and I have appreciated all aspects of their service. They are professional, timely, competent and can also get out to my house very quickly! Most recently, I was especially appreciative when the plumber made a visit and the issue seemed to have resolved itself - there was no charge. They are definitely my go-to's for all things plumbing and drains!

Had a clogged drain that wasn't an emergency, but we did want it fixed ASAP. I was able to schedule an appointment late at night using their online scheduling system (very helpful). The technician came first thing in the morning and fixed the clog within 20 minutes. Great service. Only complaint was the cost for how long they had to work. $209 for 20 minutes. They did inform me of the cost beforehand, but I would appreciate a little lower cost.

Water Heater Stopped working, I have some basic knowledge so I tried to trouble shoot it, and failed. Called them and they had some here same day, and called to let me know they were on the way. They were able to get it stared and evaluated quickly.

The service person, Patrick, was nice, and didn't even give me hard time for being able to get it started when I could not.

Had a great experience - we had a sewer backup last weekend, had that rooted but a backup remained and we were warned that this might be a case of damage to the stub or an offset pipe, requiring excavation. Bark from Roto Rooter jetted out the side sewer which left it super clean, so that we could see the connection to the main line on the video equipment. It turns out the pipe is slightly offset, by about an inch, but not damaged and not so much that it would be an issue requiring excavation. Jetting is expensive, but the results were way better than the rooting and now we know that we won't have to stress out about how to find the 10k+ that an issue with the connection would have cost. Couldn't be happier.

This is the review for Water Restoration team led by Kyle who came to the home and gave me an estimate for removing floors and baseboards, carpeting, etc. His service was efficient and quick. Kyle's team cleaned up all the debris and left a home in a good condition.

Yeah, was very lucky to have Sam to do the service at our kitchen sink. Quick and easy dealings with this guy, well mannered and knowledgeable. Was happy with the over all service!
Hopefully it will stay fixed and not use the 6 month warranty. Keep it real guys!
