Jess N.Roto-rooter was called by my 83-year-old mother to clear a blocked drain, which had some tree roots. Start to finish 1.25 hours which cost her $700 dollars. In the process they broke the mounting flange when they pulled the toilet. Instead of fixing it for free, since they broke it, they came the next day with a quote of $5450 to repair it. My mother called us to see what we thought and we told her to send them packing. We had it repaired for under $200 dollars. Price gouging elderly and vulnerable people is not cool.
Save yourself time and do not contact these people. Scheduling is a nightmare. It doesn't seem they can plan their technician schedule. We have our service window confirmed from 10-2p but no one ever shows up. We called few times and kept being promised for a tech to come in the next 10 minutes, which is a lie. At the end, when you want to cancel the whole appointment, they will try to talk you out of it with more lies. Stay away.
Not even remotely impressed. Said they would call in two hours. After no call , I called them. Transferred to a ""technician"" who asked me some fairly moronic questions. After 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back, canceled the service call. Tip for Rpto Rootsr - have someone that can actually have a conversation answer the phone. If I could give ZERO stars I would - absolutely terrible.
I suppose I'll call rescue rooter...
Can't believe they charged me 200 dollars for turning on the gate valve. Toooooo expensive! Never go there!

Scheduling took a bit of back-and-forth, as their times are not very accurate, and you have no idea what part of the wide window you will get scheduled in. I would schedule it on a day where you plan to be home the entire day. They are available every day, which helps, as I was able to get it done on a Sunday. I'm not sure what their emergency service is like.
My plumber (Reza) was a nice guy who unclogged my sink, after 2 other companies were unable to do so. Things I wish he did differently:
-he asked if he should put covers on his shoes when coming into my home. I think you should just do it as a courtesy, it can't hurt
-clear the area before starting work. There was a little bit of inevitable splashing, and I was concerned about the drain clearing liquid getting on my toothbrush/mouthguard. He assured me the product was safe, but I think everyone would prefer to *not* have that stuff in their mouth. I suggest you just clear the area yourself before they come.
-not talk on the phone. He was talking on the phone in a different language the entire time. I didn't want to close the door because I wanted to keep an eye on this strange man in my house, and hearing him was somewhat bothersome.
Reza offered to sell me some preventative drain cleaning product, and wasn't too pushy, which I appreciated. I purchased one bottle for $60, making my total bill about $600. That seems pretty expensive to me, and I would expect a much higher level of service, though maybe it's just the nature of this industry. I paid another company $300 last year and they were rude and didn't really fix the problem. Perhaps I will try another one the next time I have an issue.
Customer service applied the Yelp $50 off coupon for me even though I didn't mention it until after I had paid (just call and ask for it to be refunded) so I'm giving an extra star to say thanks for that.
Brian M.Farid was great! He was very knowledgeable and was not pushy about service. I might have a clogged yard drain and he gave me some things to look for and his personal number if it backs up in the coming winter months.
Sergii P.A week ago they cleaned up one sink pipe in my house, charged $409 + tax = $450. Talked today with a manager. He said it's ok to charge like that because the problem could have been bigger. I don't recommend this service to non-millionaires.
Achal P.We needed our heater replaced within the day. Called them, they were prompt to scheduled an evening appointment but called a while later with an earlier availability. Ryan, showed up on time, advised us on the replacement, helped me workout the best way to source parts and was very professional during the installation process. I am happy with the outcome and the experience.
Viki H.I had the most horrible experience with this company. Went online yesterday to make an appointment for today. They would be out anywhere from 8a to noon. Received a voicemail at 1108 and called back at 11:13a only to be told I would have to wait until a plumber was available. The company gives me a four hour waiting window but can't wait 5 minutes for me to call them. I say, no thank you to this type of customer service. I will never recommend this company and will complain about the service every chance I get.
I'm a general contractor and my normal plumber was unable to come trouble shoot drains backing up in a commercial center my company was working in. Eric Cobb of rescue rooter came out and took care of us. He was extremely professional and took care of our problem. A+
