Total scam. Called them to replace my garbage disposal. I figured this is a very routine job. The plumber told me they would have to replace all of the piping below the sink. I asked why and got some nonsensical response about how they had very high standards and wanted to do the best job they could??? The quote I received was for over $1000. I told him no thanks and had to play $60 for the privilege of having this guy try to rip me off.

I ended up just buying the same model of garbage disposal online and checking an ""installation services"" box. Total cost was $220 and no piping was replaced.

Main water line sprung a leak on the side of my house. You could clearly see where the water was seeping out of the ground.

Received a quote of $4,620 before parts and taxes. Includes 12 hours of labor.

Called 811 myself, they marked my utilities within 3 hours. 1 hour of digging. 1 hour to slip on the coupling pictured below. Total cost $16.80.

How could a 'reputable' company be so off with their estimate?

Completely unprofessional! Never showed up and kept us waiting for 7 hours. Appointment was quick and was told that service guys will be coming by afternoon. Got two calls in between that they will be coming, gsave us the perception that they will be coming at least though it may be late.

I received a confirmation saying they will come between 9-11am. So I made my next appointment for another thing at noon. On the day of scheduled service they told me it has to be a 4-hour window that they can dispatch technicians, and they cannot come before 11. They insisted it was 9am-1pm while the confirmation email clearly says 9-11am.

Terrible! Came to the house and wanted exorbitant money to fix a faucet. Asked what they needed to do that cost so much and they said they can't explain it to me, but that they were professionals and would do it right. Said now way and got another plumber to come and they charged half the price and explained clearly what needed to be done before they started. Would never call Roto Rooter again!

Great job! Quick service! I called for a backed up sink at 6 am and by 8:30 am it was fixed. Florin was a great plumber who was friendly and efficient.

Called yesterday to have an old kitchen faucet removed and replaced. Dispatcher told me plumber will arrive 10am the next business day. Called 10am the following day and was told it's a 4hr window so plumber will arrive between 10a-2p. Called 1pm if plumber is still coming and was told all plumbers are still out and someone will call once one is available. Was told it will arrive today but no specific timeframe. After 2pm, received a call someone is coming. After inspecting the faucet, their fee is $420 + tax to simply remove old faucet and replace with the new one (i already purchased the faucet). For a 30min job, it was very expensive. I called Chris @ Plumb Masters and he was able to add me to his schedule on the same day. Showed up after 4hrs and finished the job within 30mins. His fee was flat rate of $125. Big difference in price and did an excellent work.

Easy to schedule and they were able to get someone out to my house 3 hours from the time I called. Plumber was punctual and professional and gave me many helpful tips and pointers. However, I was charged $520 plus tax for one hour of work to suck out the standing water from my kitchen sink and snake my kitchen drain pipe. I feel sick over the pricing as I feel like I'm completely ripped off. However, it is Thanksgiving week and I can't use the kitchen if the clog isn't resolved so I felt like I had no choice but to let the plumber work on the drain because he's already there and I really need my kitchen sink to work ASAP.

Needed my roof vents cleared due to vibrating toilets and catch trap water being shot out of the toilets. Vlad, the employee said it's not the vents it's a blockage that's not there anymore. The problem is intermittent and not continuous. Vlad did not even look at the vents and refused to service them, which is the sole reason I called them. Now I'll be on my roof clearing vents when I get home tonight at midnight.

years ago Roto Rooters did the same to me again, but i forgot it and this time wanted to give another go

i scheduled a free quote service to understand the issue with my leaky faucet in master bedroom. I did explicitly clear and was confirmed it is a quote.

the technician was supposed to give a free quote but i have heard from my tenant, he is putting some sealant on the faucet. i dont really understand how these guys can bare-face manipulate


Roto rooters clearly not operating per agreement, this is not what I agreed on the phone, i am not ok with ""a free quote turning to a paid service without my consent""


Moreover, the technician was supposed to call me after inspection but he didn't , instead my tenant is letting me know the update
