Efficient, friendly and accurate service. Our technician, Tim H., remembered us from 6 years earlier (a different issue) and was very courteous and kind even asking how the past experience was and about the previous issue. There is never any pressure to purchase any extras and the price is clear and upfront and guaranteed. I will continue to use Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services if we have any future issues (of course I am hoping we won't have any issues but we own a home so........).

Ron did a great job. I had a sewer line with roots growing in it and no sewer cleanout, so through the toilet we go. He was upfront and honest with the costs and the details about the work. He was very professional and did his work expertly and efficiently. I had no issues with the scheduling.

Paul, service technician was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what my issue was as soon as I told him my problems. An hour later, I was paying him for his services. I was having some drainage issues going into my septic tank. Come to find out, there was a blockage from my house leading to my septic tank.
I was told they would be at my house between 8-10am and sure enough, 8 o'clock and there was a knock on my door. Paul was ready to dirty and get the job done.

The GOOD: Our technician, Farid, did a fantastic job. He not only cleared the one clogged downspout drain (using the jet hose) - but he also went around and cleared ALL of our downspout drains. So our entire drain system is now cleared out. That is a good thing. Farid was also very nice and personable - he even gave me the $50 coupon deal off of the internet without me having to go print the coupon. Well done!

The BAD: RR prices are WAY to HIGH. $531 for 30 minutes of work is too much - even with the $50 'discount' (which is basically the sales tax). There were other services in town who would've done it for $100's less. RR should quote us a ballpark price BEFORE the technician shows up. Asking the technician to spring such a high price once he has arrived at our doorstep - where it is hard to say 'no' when your drain is clogged - is an over aggressive sales approach IMHO.

Plumber was 10 minutes late (4 hour window!)

Gave me estimate of $145.00 to fix kitchen sink (1/2 hour x $290/hr rate). Took him 5-10 minutes.

Flat rate of $290.00 for water closet supply spigot & supply line. Took him about 25 minutes (including 4+ trips to truck)

Plumber was on site less than 55 minutes and replaced spigot & supply line to water closet; and replaced 2-3 o-rings in kitchen p-trap system.

Yelp map is deceptive showing location in Bremerton/Silverdale, but this plumber came from Puyallup!

Bill: $516.00

After mentioning how short of a time he was on site and how LARGE the bill was he reduced the bill by $50.00 which was a nice gesture.

These are lawyer rates.

Be aware of using them. First of all they won't quote a price over the phone. I understand that each problem can be different but they could at least tell you they charge $198 an HOUR. It cost me almost $300 to have a simple snake done down a bathtub. (I'm told I got the corporate discount and it would have been nearly $400 after insisting a supervisor call me.) My arrival call was supposed to go to my tenant, they called me instead and I had to redirect...the call came from Illinois...I live in Washington...they didn't even know how to spell Seattle. Then, they take your credit card over the phone...the plumber handwriting it down and carrying it around on who knows what paperwork...so your number is floating around. They ask for your email address so they can send a receipt. I never got a receipt but I'm already getting advertising from them and they probably already sold my email address. Run from this company!

It was pretty late in the evening. And we set it up online and within 30 minutes they came to fix our problem. On top off that the guy was super friendly and gave us suggestions and helpful. Overall experience was excellent. Will definetely use them for the future.
