I called for my elderly parents to have a drain cleared. They would not give a quote over the phone, but I relied on a review that said they were similar in price to a plumber. (quote from plumber $200) I had told my father the plumber quote, but when Roto Rooter came they accepted the bid of $409. It took 45 minutes. Then he sold them drain cleaner so the bill came to $550!!!!! My Dad had a stroke and my Mom has dementia - and I feel this company took huge advantage of their frailty. They are on a fixed income and this really hurts. I don't live close enough to come for situations like this. I would NEVER call the company again. They are robbers.

I was told they offer 24/7 service by their advertising and when I called I asked for an evening appointment to allow for no disruption in my work schedule. This is totally misleading. I was in the 6-10pm time slot only to find that they have almost no technicians working. I finally was told someone could come at 10:30-11 pm for a leaking sink. I would have called someone else if I had known.

Thanks for responding with calm and patience to my panicked call for help. My basement bathroom (shower & toilet) and floor drain were spewing sewage into the house. A real estate open house was scheduled in a few hours! The tech, Vlad, showed up with plenty of time. Best news was the sewer line was good! Just some backup from an over-used shower (by long-haired young women). Vlad helped negate the odor and all was clean and fresh-smelling for the open house! Thanks again!!

I had a clogged drain. I had worked on the project all day and I told them exactly where the problem is and which drain lines are inaccessible. At the end of the day, they unclogged it in an hour.
The main problem was that they give an expensive fixed rate.
On the upside they give 6 months guarantee on the clogged drain.

I have had a couple of experiences with them. The first time it was plumbing repairs and new toilet, the a leakage and now a replacement of a leaking water heater. All was pleasant, efficiant and in a timely manner. I did think it was rather expensive for the amount of time it took to repair.

Fast service on a clogged sewer line. Cleared it let me know what steps needed to be taken to avoid this again in the future. Would call again if needed.

Our sewer line was backed up. I was told it would be 2 hours before they would arrive. It was actually only about 30 minutes as they were already in the neighborhood. They were quick and professional. But the price seems high.

Professional, timely, and clean and cognizant of the space he was working in. We called Roto-Rooter after a very costly visit from a different plumbing outfit that was a mere temporary fix to the problem and only offered one solution that was also going to be again, VERY costly. We got a same day appointment (that worked with our busy work schedules) to do a free estimate. On the spot we decided to move ahead with the solution and he was able to get the job done immediately and helped in cleaning up the work space. Super pleased and will likely never call a different plumbing company from here on out!

I had a kitchen drain which needed unclogging deep down the pipe and some minor pipe /replacement/updating. The plumber, Sergey was on time, polite and thorough. Great service, steep price: $830.
