Felix H.Service requested went well and beyond what was expected. We could have asked for any more. Good quality installation.
This company has great representation. Jake and Rodger were my technicians that came out to replace my water heater. These gents were professional, great line of communication about the process and cleaned up afterwards. They provided great information moving forward with my water heater and its maintenance. Roto-Rooter took great care of me with these two professionals.
Christopher G.Techs came out to drain water heater and stuck the drain hose in a toilet and turned on a pump overflowing the toilet ,flooded to second floor , their demo team was great in pulling drywall and setting up fans plus contracting to get the damage fixed which they legally had to do , they acted like they were doing me a favor but said I still had to pay for the water heater , worst customer service , general manager who never called me denied getting carpet and house clean of the drywall they had to cut out, company was a joke and over priced , missed work and never got any compensation , best reaction was the plumber when I told him I want paying until the damage was completely fixed that boggled his mind , if u are reading this general manager thanks for not making an effort to make it right, thanks for never reaching out
K M.Some businesses don't deserve any stars at all. This is definitely one of them. As non-plumbers most of us are at the mercy of whatever a ""technician"" says needs to be done. At the same time when they leave, if things are working, they can pretty much put anything on the receipt to justify wherever charges exist. We were given a two hour window and text notice when the ""technician"" was on his way. The ""technician"", let's call him ""mr. van"""", called 30 minutes after we were notified that he was thirty minutes away, only to tell is he won't make it until 10:00am the next day. 10:15am the next day mr. van still wasn't at my house. I called him, no answer but got a text telling me to text him. After sending the text, i learned he was 15 minutes away which would have put him at my house at 10:30. I told him if he wasn't there by 10:30 to cancel the call. He arrives 3 minutes after 10:30. I call the company to cancel and get some bs story that he was already he was otw dispatched and couldn't be canceled without a charge. I was charged $125 dollars to reset a water heater, which i learned how to do on YouTube and did myself before calling these crooks. Pressing the red reset button did nothing and my water heater still doesn't work as it should. As if that wasn't enough i was charged another $400+ to repair a tub diverter, which I didn't ask them to repair/replace, that was functioning fine before they arrived. They even charged for the time it took for them to go to Home Depot for an ordinary plumbing part for this ""broken"" diverter! Wow what do these crooks carry around in their service trucks?? My search for an honest plumber continues...
The technicians were very professional! They cleared my toilet clog quickly! I will continue to use them! Thank you roto- rooter!!!
Plumber showed up with his buddies looked at it and.said well we need to cut the wall. Still don't know why they thought that when that is not where the leak was. Then they said but you'll have to cut the wall because we aren't allowed to do it. They were such bs they did nothing. I gave them $10 bucks to leave. I highly recommend using someone else. If I could give zero stars I would.
Christian L.Not reputable. Our plumber showed up with rusted tools & wrong size wrench. In the end I did the job myself. Exorbitant fees ($500?). No-clue plumber.

I choose Roto-Rooter to provide the service needed because of what I read on Angie's List. The price is what primarily drove my decision to select them. Angie's site states between $250 to $450 to clear my backed up kitchen sink. Imagine my surprise when the Tech told me the service would be $623!!!!! To just run a snake thru the pipes underneath the kitchen sink
My neighbor called Roto-Rooter to help fix a small leak from his sink. The technician neglected to shut off the water to this house, yet proceeded to cut a main water line. This resulted in mass amounts of flooding to not only my neighbors home, but mine as well. This flooding caused major damage to my home, which Roto-Rooter seems unwilling to fairly compensate for. Don't use this company- as the employees from the local to corporate level lack good customer service and the technicians cause many thousands of dollars of damage.
Plumber came and attempted to way overcharge by saying they do $315 per hour. After calling roto rooter office they said they have never heard of that and supposedly had a word with the plumber. After their talk with him he came and said $415 for the entire job plus pay for parts, which still seemed too high. Plumber also overcharged for parts as the pvc pipes purchased shouldn't cost more than $5 yet he charged more than $20. Only reason price was accepted was because the kitchen sink needed to be fixed ASAP. Shady services and way overpriced.
