My hot water heater had a problem with its pilot light. My technician, Joe (2181), was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed the problem and gave me a quick tutorial on how the hot water heater works. If I need any more help with my gas-powered appliances, I will certainly request him.

He was prompt and courteous. Awesome guy!!

Woke up this morning with water in my bathtub and toilet that wouldnt flush after roommate used shower upstairs. I could not stay home in the morning or daytime to get it fixed due to work. Got home at 4:30, called 2 other companies. One's machine was broke, another's pricing structure gave me a headache. Then I called rotorooter. I got a courtesy call around 8:00 saying they were sorry no one had come out yet but the gentleman coming out was finishing up a job and would be at my house shortly and that they would call when he was en route. Which they did again at 8:30. He arrived around 9pm, which is fine by me since I didnt call till 4:30. Mr. Robert was very professional and friendly. He explained my options. He began digging and to my surprise quickly dug a 4 foot deep hole to the main line in front yard, cracked open the ancient terra cotta line and fixed the stoppage (FYI ""disposable wipes"" are not very disposable.) My other option was to take the toilet out and go in that way. I asked Mr.Robert which way would have been easier, he said the way he did it. I am not sure about that with all the digging he did but am grateful for all his hard work. I have never seen a hole dug so quick in my life, much less through azalea bush roots everywhere. The price was not as shocking as I expected, which helps more than anyone could imagine. Thanks RotoRooter

I am so pleased with the work and service that I received from Roto Rooter. I discovered a leak on Friday morning and made an appointment for the following Monday -- so we had to wait three days with a leak in our dining room. That company never showed up, so I called several others. They either did not return my call, or were not available that day. When I called Roto Rooter they had someone there within about two hours. As I also had plaster damage, they sent a water damage restoration worker as well. They were both from Roto Rooter, which made coordinating with both of them very easy and really lowered my stress about the entire situation. All three gentlemen were professional, friendly, and easy to get in touch with, even after normal work hours. Next time I need a plumber I will definitely call them first.

They were great. Very professional and very nice. Took the time to explain what they were doing, how they were doing it, and what to expect every step of the way. Their 30 days guarantee is legit, they came back next day to fix another clog.

Called Roto Rooter to repipe an office trailer bathroom that has exactly 2 fixtures (toilet & sink) in a totally exposed area - so no having to cut through walls or anything else. When I asked a cost he couldn't (wouldn't?) commit but when I asked ""Over $500"" he said ""maybe a little.. So the $1200 bill was a surprise. I called their office and the lady I spoke to verbally agreed to split the difference and we were going to pay $850...but alas, the ""new"" person comes along and says that no, it took him 6 hours to do this work, we have to pay $1200. Now bear in mind, we are talking about a 6' length of cpvc, a 90' turn, 2' of pipe, 2 Ts up to the sink, another 3' a T to the toilet. That's it. And at no time did I get a call saying ""hey, there's a problem here, it's going to cost more $$$"". Where I come from 225% is more than ""a little more."" I feel like we are being billed for his learning curve and because I am 400 miles away so I can only do so much.
I've also reached out to the Corporate website...BBB next... DO NOT USE THEM WITHOUT GETTING EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DOCUMENTING EVERY SINGLE THING.

MANAGEMENT REACHED OUT AND HAS AGREED TO ACCEPT THE $850. Historically they had done good work for us but this particular time was a mess. We will continue using them but I will be sure everything is via email to cover us (and them).

I wanted to leave a review on my experience with Roto-Rooter. I called & made an appointment Sunday for Monday between 3:00-5:00pm. At 9:00pm & they had yet to show up, so I called & canceled the appointment. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed. Will not be calling them again.

I called roto rooter today with a sewage problem/emergency and they sent someone out within an hour. Shawn Prunty was very knowledgable about the area I live in, about the specific problem, and offered both a more reasonably priced fix and a more expensive fix. (Depending on how permanent of a fix we wanted). He was not pushy or condescending and was thorough and detailed. All in all, we were extremely impressed! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

After having to reschedule my appointment for sewer cleanout replacement 3 times with Corey due to rain, his crew being behind on there work and a no show, Shawn and Lewis showed up on time Friday morning, discussed the work that was going to be done and how long it would take. They finished early afternoon as they said they would, cleaned the work area and made all the proper connections while explaining the reasons they were bad in the first place. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of work that was done even though it was kind of frustrating getting it all set up. I will use Roto-Rooter again.

They told me they would arrive between 2-4 to repair my clogged drain line. They never arrived! After waiting all day, I called another company that arrived promptly and completed the job. I will never call Roto-rooter again. Very disappointed that a company that has been around for so long can't commit to providing prompt service!
