i called them bc i had drains backed up in my kitchen. I had set the appt for monday 5-7pm. they never came out and i called them to inquire. they apologized for not making it out and we rescheduled for the next day same time frame. again 5-7pm and no one came out. i called yet again and expressed my dissatisfaction of having to call them (someone should have called me) the dispatch guy again apologized and remembered me from the prior day. he said "let me work my magic" i agreed and he got someone out to my house at 10.30pm (not happy with that time but i haven't used my kitchen or laundry for two days now) so when the guy finally shows up he informs me that it will be $295. I just laughed and said "really i don't think so". you are 36 hours late and you want me to pay that, you can just go. he leaves and comes back inside and says "ok i can do for $121. i agree as it was late and well to my surprise this guy spends no more than 30 mins and gives me two bottles of drain cleaner. so the next morning, happy that i can finally do some laundry and to my surprise the sinks started gurgling again. so i sent over a survey and received a call from Denton (the manager). he apologized for the inconvenience and said he would send someone else back out. so we set the time for Sunday because i couldn't miss anymore work and he assured me that the tech would show up on time and take care of the issue. Sunday came around and yes the tech was on time and spent time with me discussing the problem with my drains and stayed as long as it took to actually fully clear them.. i was and am completely satisfied with the end result and i want to thank Denton for going over and above what needed to be done and in addition he refunded my money. i would honestly say that had Denton not have reached out the way he did to rectify the situation i would not have been a happy customer and would have spread the bad word. Now I'm talking to all my friends about what happened and how thrilled i was was with the end result. Thank you!!!

Michael came out as scheduled. Was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable about his job. Did the work, which fixed my problem, water heater was not heating the water. Didn't take him long to do the work, but the cost for labor was RIDICULOUS! Triple the cost of the part that was replaced. Being without hot water for 4 days already, how much of a choice does one have at that time? I probably won't use them again though....$330 labor fee...outrageous! I've never been raped before, but I kinda felt like I had been after that payment.

Would not use this people they lie about appointment times and lost $300.00 worth of tickets. They should have no stars if the site would let me.
Called them at 12 noon on Saturday and was given a same day appointment. Then received a call back asking to reschedule told them I needed to be the first call as I need to be out of the house by 12 noon. It is now 12 noon received call from technician and am being told that it will take an hour to get here. If you need pluming service on time or around the clock I would not trust this people.
The 24hr service offered is a myth.

Too bad I can't leave zero stars. My water heater went out so I called at 7:00 PM on Friday evening and was told they would schedule service for Saturday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM with a 30 minute call prior to arrival. I received a call at 10:15AM Saturday saying they wouldn't be able to make it and could reschedule it for Monday morning. Thank goodness I found someone else to come out today!

Booked an appointment in the afternoon and the plumber was early. Did an excellent job with a fair price. Would definitely use again when I need a plumber again.

I have to say that Roto-Rooter's complaint resolution is fantastic. I heard from someone in management very quickly after sharing my concerns and they were fast to resolve my issue.

I had a great experience and a very patient technician. This is a new house for me and I had no idea where the clean out was located. He walked with me all through the outside until it was finally located and the previous owners had painted it black and it was in the flower bed (that made it very difficult to see!). I wasn't pushed into doing any service I didn't want and the technician gave me the opportunity to try a low cost protective agent before spending money to bring in a camera to find the issue. The only reason I didn't rank it 5 stars is because the appointment was supposed to be between 9:30am - 11:30am, and the dispatcher didn't call until nearly 12pm to let me know it would be another 30 minutes before the arrival. Certainly not the techs fault!

I called to schedule an appointment and they said they would arrive between 5 & 8 pm. At 7:45 I called back to make sure someone was coming and they said no, my appt would have to be rescheduled. Meanwhile my toilet is overflowing in the bathroom. Not to mention the customer service rep was very rude. I definitely don't recommend calling them!!

The service met all expectations of timing, explanation, and product. The operator called within 30 minutes of arrival of the plumber. Upon arrival, the plumber introduces himself and taken care when entering the house. I would use the service again.

Called on 11/14/14 about strong sewer smell in my house. The tech was friendly & listened to all my concerns. He suggested we have the foundation plumbing checked with a camera, but I told him another plumber mentioned a smoke test. Asked him to check attic & he told me he didn't smell anything. He assured me he had been doing this for sometime. We paid a few thousand dollars for a repair that didn't fix the problem. On 11/25/14, Smell came back so I called the technician, who promised to call me back. Waited 4 days no response. On 12/01/14, I called customer service, who promised to have tech's manager call me back. No callback. Sent a complaint to the corporate office after business hours on 12/01/14. They responded the next day saying I would receive a callback in 30 minutes. Didn't receive a callback until 3 hours later. Tech's supervisor asked me to give them chance to find the source of the problem. He was not sure why original tech wanted to look at foundation plumbing because issue obviously related to venting. No refund offered or discount given. I was assured that issue would be resolved at no additional expense to me. 12/03/14, different tech came and did a smoke test. Ah ha, a venting issue in attic discovered! Did some work to roof jacks & problem not as severe. I called on 12/03/14 to ask about a possible discount since I had paid for something I didn't need. I was told by a really nice lady that I probably would have needed the repair eventually so it saved me in the long run. She said the supervisor would call me back to talk about a possible discount. It's been 5 days and no callback. Do I still smell sewer gas? Yes, but it is not as strong as it initially was. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I have no confidence in this company.
