Well Saturday I had some plumbing work done . My toliet clogged up, and l tried to do the normal plunger, then dish soap. Neither worked. So I ended calling Roto Rooter. Water was backing in my tub. He ended snaking the clogged drain. The service was good. The only thing I had a problem with is I'm not a smoker, but the guy reeked of cigarette smoke. And the service was a bit expensive. Other than that, I'd call them again. They guarantee the work for 6 months. I just hope that I won't need them again.

Bait and Switch? Or just rip off?

I called and asked a basic question about getting a bathroom sink snaked for a clog. They didn't want to provide an estimate over the phone and I specifically said well I don't want to wait a few hours for someone to show up and ask a ridiculous fee for a basic snaking. I mentioned other companies with stated drain clog visit fees and I did not want to be surprised with something higher than those. She said "well if they do then just say no and show them out."

A few hours later the guy shows up. I walk him to the bathroom where I already had the drain disassembled and ready to be snaked and he said it would be $325. I laughed and said well no thank you. He said he could call and see if they'd do a little better. I said a little wasn't even close so I just walked him out. This should have been between $70-100 and others even run specials lower than that. A little extra if he was already here and I would said ok but this was such a ripoff I couldn't bear to pay them anything.

What a waste of time- I should have read the other reviews.

It does not give me the option to select negative stars. I received a call stating they would be out between 3 to 7 so I left work to be sure I was home when they arrived. However, they never showed up. My husband contacted them and they told him it had been rescheduled and they would get back with him. They ended up sending someone out at 1030 pm only to tell oh I can't fix the problem I work on septics, mine was a broken water heater pipe. They said they would have someone out first thing the next morning, they did. I was then charged $350 for 5 min of work and they did not even bother sealing the space between the pipe and the ground so I could see straight through to the ground. Instead I was told I could buy the stuff to fix it at home depot. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE ROTO ROOTER.....

This morning I was pleasantly surprised by this company. I found their name from an educational video clip in YOUTUBE while I was looking for the remedy for knocking sound issue from my water heater. The plumber visited my house was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the situation thoroughly and suggested possible options. He was not dramatic at all. The price option was a little higher than the local vendors BUT much more trustful. I would hire them. The examination and guote was free.

Our plumber didn't know anything. Charged $500, said it was one thing but it was another. $3,000 was the price he wanted for him to fix it. Luckily he didn't fix "that". Since we didn't want to pay that much we asked for a second opinion. Thankfully it wasn't a collapsed pipe but only clogged. And thankfully we didn't spend $3,000. Didn't even know where the main drain was. Didn't know what he was doing. And also brought a drunk guy to dig. Horrible experience. Luckily we only spent $500 on this business, but for sure the last time I will call them.

We a bathroom sink that was backed up. When I called they were very helpful over the phone and even offered same day service. Our technician showed up. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were right on time, very friendly and it only took them about 30 min to solve the problem. We had a clogged drain somewhere deep down in our pipes. We just weren't expecting them to be so expensive! We are hoping this is a one time thing.... but the price we paid is good for 6 months down the road so that is great.

What a great experience. I will be honest, I had two other companies come by and give estimates for true issues I was having. Beyond the amount I saved by going with Roto-Rooter, I would say the service was the deal maker. From the moment the doorbell rang till the last handshake, I was impressed. The guys were professional and took their time explaining the issues and all options. When the work was done, which did not take long for these experienced guys, again, they took the time to explain the work done and what to expect in the coming days and further down the line. In addition to this the guys gave me emergency number just in case. What a great experience I would recommend thaws guys to anyone. Thanks again.

I had bathroom water issues. I contacted Roto-Rooter for service for Sunday morning via the Roto-Rooter web page. Clyde #979 arrived on time, thoroughly explained the issues with my water drainage, and gave useful advice in maintenance of the house plumbing. Clyde quickly repaired my bathroom water problem. Clyde had previously serviced my residence with the same expertise.

I needed a hydro jet service to clear my outdoor drainage lines all the way from my back yard to my front curb. I got an appointment the same day I called, and a courtesy call half an hour before my guy was to arrive. He arrived on time and quickly solved my problem. He was also full of good advice to keep my issue from reoccurring.
