I called yesterday with a problem that had been ongoing. I was given an appointment today for from 1-3pm. Joe showed up at 12:38pm. He just got straight to it and found my problem, then went straight into getting it corrected. I expected a much higher balance due. Very happy with the service.

Called Roto Rooter in Columbia to come and fix an emergency flow valve on a toilet as well as replace a outside faucet. Gave me two quotes. One was overhauling the toilet which did not need to be done since it was a new toilet just needed the water valve replaced. After the work examined the two quotes and what the final bill was. What they did was quoted a commercial grade valve and not the residential. Billed me for the hose to the valve which did not need to be replaced and was not replaced but billed me for it. Called them the next day and told them I was putting a hold on the check. Told me that the plumber would be calling me after waiting Wednesday and Thursday no reponse went to the office and spoke with the Owner who agreed that I was over charged and the quoted work was not correct. I was due a credit. They told me my check had already been deposited and I would receive a credit once the check cleared. In other words they would get their money before correcting the clients bill or credit. A week later Wednesday my check still has not cleared in order for me to get my credit. So stopped payment again and will only pay them on the agreed reduced bill.

Had an issue with small roots clogging up the plumbing. Hired a plumber to who came out and didn't fix the issue.

Called Roto Rooter who came out the same day and after about an hour of removing the clog and roots the problem was fixed and haven't had an issue since.

Will definitely call them again for anything plumbing.
