Roto-Rooter saved my day and nerves! I started getting water here and there in my basement thinking my washer was going. Well this weekend there was a lot more water and I could see it coming out of my run off pipe especially after a toilet flushed. To top things off the unit includes apartments and we were getting new tenants that day making things even more stressful. I could of had a huge mess but I called Roto-Rooter and they knew exactly what to do. Now I have a clean sewer line that is also backed with a 30 day guarantee. I never had to use the company before but I would definitely recommend and use them again (hopefully I wont have to :) ). My service man was also great! Very personable and handled the situation like a true pro. Thanks again!

I have never used roto rooter before. My mom passed away and I inherited her house with a cellar drainage problem which erupted!! I called roto rooter and got Amanda. She was awesome and even told me about a coupon for 20 dollars off online. Within two hours of calling the plumber Chuck Black showed and solved my problem with professionalism and concern. He was great. Even calmed me down about having to pay 69 bucks to the city of Wilkes-Barre for a permit! I do not have a lot of funds but I plan on using roto rooter again and trust them! Honest and good.

Roto Rooter really surprised me!!! I was apprehensive to call such a well-known, commercial company, but I'm glad I did! First of all, they have 24 hour service which is why I called in the first place because not many other companies do!!! Secondly, Dave K. arrived promptly and was relentless in his search for the problem and it wasn't easy to find, but he didn't give up! Turns out is was the sump pump and an external drain pipe that was blocking the main drain pipe. This was causing a blockage that caused the water to back up into the utility sink in the basement. Lastly, after Dave found the problem, fixed the blockage, and pumped out the septic tank, then Dave M. followed up the next week by testing the sump pump to see if it worked before asking us to buy a brand new pump. It became apparent to me that he could have just told us we needed a new pump and brought it with him ready to install, but he didn't do that! He made sure that we actually needed it and he educated me about how my septic system works! It turned out that we did, in fact, need a new pump , so he then went to buy it and install it. I was very happy with the service we received...these are stand up guys who not only care about the work they do, but they care about the people they service. Well done, Roto Rooter!!!

Customer beware! I used the Roto-Rooter Plumbers (Scranton/Olyphant PA) provider recently to install a new boiler. This provider ripped me off. They engaged in fraudulent practices and will OVERCHARGE you for sure! They were dishonest, unethical, and untrustworthy in their pricing. When they showed up at my house, the technician gave me an estimate for $1,800. When I expressed my skepticism at this price he went to his van and came back with a new quote for only $810. This should have been an indicator of their DISHONESTY. However, I agreed to the services. In the end, they charged me $926 total (which consisted of $360 labor and $586 for the actual boiler). Afterwards, I found out that the ACTUAL boiler only costs $386 at my local Home Depot. ROTO-ROOTERS absolutely took advantage of me. When I asked for them to produce a receipt for how much they paid for the boiler, they flat out refused. Their management lied to me and said they charged me $200 more for the boiler because of the cost of delivery (keep in mind the Home Depot is only 10 minutes away from my house!) I don't know of any other business that scams honest people in this way. Shame on you, ROTO-ROOTERS.

The work by Dave was excellent. He found the problem immediately and knew exactly what to do to fix it. The problem was not in the work of Rotorooter. It was in the amount of time that it took. I was told noon. Then I was told 12-2pm. Then I was told another hour. When Dave determined another truck was needed, it took almost 3 hours for him to arrive. We were not charged for all these extra hours. I'd like to make it clear that the work that was done was the work that was needed. It was done well and throroughly. We were given honest explanations, expectations, and Dave worked very well with our plumber. So, but for time, the job was very well done.

I want to give credit where credit is due. The Service Technician that came out was Ray Williamson. Amazing person. Very knowledgeable and quick to get the job done. It was him that saved the day. I am a tenant and i know the policy of Roto-Rooter is to go through the Landlord and that was not an easy task since she was so hard to get ahold of. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was because of the lack of communication between me and the call center. Apparently they are hard pressed against talking to tenants and only landlords so there was some confusion and delay in our service but thanks to the patience and excellent work ethic of Ray, we were able to fix our problem (major clog in the main) as quickly as would allow. I would definitely use them again if necessary, I'm just hoping for a little more tenant involvement since the majority of the time they are the ones directly effected by the situation. Thumbs up anyway.

Another great experience with Roto-Rooter! Easy to make an appointment with the online scheduling feature, which then I needed to change. Easy enough! The number is in the confirmation email. The person who answers the phone is friendly, polite and extremely helpful (especially when I had to change the time frame twice~ she was great!). Ray came out and quickly diagnosed the problem with our electric water heater, fixed it and was gone without a trace. Professional, courteous and punctual. I couldn't ask for anything more! Needed drain service STAT and they came the next day. No problems since. The girl in the office was very pleasant to deal with and followed up to see if we were satisfied with their service. Would recommend and will use again if need be.

Jimmy came out. Had a blockage in the main line which caused a flood on a Saturday night. Roto-Rooter was here in no time and got the lines clear and provided me with a chemical to help keep my lines clear. Thank you.
