Beware!!! This company has you sign an estimate upfront for assumed services. $800 bucks for a service estinmate and the employee told me this is subject to change and my final bill would be less if i just needed water filters replaced so I said ok just replace the water filters I'm ok with just paying for that. They ended up charging me $800 to put a couple water filters in and did not deduct any as I was told. They do not give you a detailed invoice to see what you are actually paying for(parts service)and if you ask for one they say they don't need to provide it for you. He over bought the amount of water filters I need. Its a pretty simple home unit. Went to take a shower at the end of the day and the guy also forgot to plug my hot water back heater in. Zero hot water. Their employees are not properly trained to explain prices or do their job. $800 bucks totally ridiculous. I would never use this company again.

The ONLY reason for the low review is the price. They were able to come out same day for a non-emergency service, which was AMAZING. The servicemen were friendly and professional - no issues there at all.

They were in my house to auger a toilet -- total time in my house was less than 10 minutes (max).

The cost was $251.

They were here to auger two toilets about 16 months ago for almost the identical price. I don't know how they can justify that amount of an increase for half the work.

My advice is to get an estimate in advance before you schedule service with them so you are not as negatively surprised as I was.

Bad joke. They refuse to give you an estimate and when you finally do get someone to come out and look at the problem, the price starts at nearly double the price of other local competitors. I ended up using someone else to solve the problem. If I am to believe other reviews, they do good work if you don't mind paying too much.

At first we thought it was a clogged drain but later on a Saturday night we realized it was something bigger. Roto-rooter came and clean out our sewer connection to the street and advised replacing the sewer line made of Orange Burg back in the 60's. We had them do that work as well and are well please with their skill, efficiency, communication, and customer service. The repair people were excellent in both doing the job and keeping us informed.

I'm a very satisfied customer! Michael and Joey were phenomenal to work with. They arrived promptly within the 2 hr window given and were done with our job fairly quick. This was an especially difficult job since it required the plumber to enter my 2 ft crawlspace and crawl about 5 ft to then squeeze under an 8-10 inches space under a cross beam to reach the plumbing point of entry. Michael is very skilled and patient in what he does. I'll be sure to request Michael or Joey if we encounter any other issues in the future.

We called for emergency service they said they were coming and they never showed up. When we called and asked they claimed we canceled the job. No one canceled they just never showed up and lied. Would not recommend especially in an emergency.

I had a kitchen sink drain and washing machine drain blocked somewhere in the pipes coming out of my basement. (Springbrook township,PA)- ...Lee, who was the Roto-Rooter technician, did an excellent and timely job of cleaning out and unblocking the pipes . I would highly recommend Lee and Roto-Rooter for your drain-cleaning needs. Very pleased!""

Update: I knocked another star off because I had someone contact me about my review who passed me to another person who then passed me to another person all for them to tell me they looked at my job order and the pricing was right.

It's still over priced and I also didn't like that the pricing wasn't transparent. I didn't see any list of services with corresponding prices so this location could have charged me anything

Won't be using them again if I can avoid it.
