I called Roto-Rooter to unclog a gutter downspout based on a neighbor's recommendation. I had never used this company before. They offered to come out the same day, but that didn't work with my schedule so I asked them to come on a different day and they accommodated me. Kyle came out and explained the fee was $250/hr with a one hour minimum. Yikes! I went ahead because the clog was causing water to flood my neighbor's garden and I didn't want to have to find someone else to fix it. It took 25 minutes and then he used up the rest of the time inspecting my other downspouts which did not need service.

I am happy with the service but I think the price was very high. I would only use them again in an emergency when lower cost providers were not available.

I never thought to give a plumber a review but I with only a week to go before our baby is due, i was so happy with their professional prompt service. Everyone else takes weeks to get a bid, schedule you, etc. I called on thurs, fri, they came out first thing mon Morning, had the job accurately bid in 10 min, and were out the door an hour later and our 2 leaky faucets were fixed with a 90 day guarantee. And! Our guy Nathan was very nice and professional. Got right to the job, put a mat down to keep things clean.

Couldn't be happier. Glad to leave a 5 star review. Apparently if they install the appliance it has a year warranty.

I had a bad clog that was affecting every drain in my house. Roto-Rooter was able to send someone out the day of to take care of the problem. His name was Kyle, and after some investigation he diagnosed the issue and explained the problem, the solution, and what it would cost to take care of it. We was clear and professional, was careful to clean up any mess that resulted, and did thorough testing afterward to make sure everything was fixed. I would use them again.

I would NEVER use them again. First of all as the homeowner I called for the service and expected the tech to deal with me. He basically ignored me and got got my husband to sign the order. Had he told me it would be a minimum of $250 I would have told him to hit the road. So he spent a very short time doing the job and wanted the $250. I told him I would pay $150 and he said no. I refused to sign the paperwork as I did not approve the work. So I mailed them a check for $150 to the address online and it came back as undeliverable. A month later I got a letter from a collection agency. I called and spoke to someone regarding this and the manager that handled this was out and would call me back. NEVER got a call. I was told this manager sent this directly to collections. NEVER WOULD I USE ROTO ROOTER AGAIN. I FOUND SOMEONE THAT COULD HAVE DONE THE SAME JOB FOR $89. DON'T USE THEM. This happened back in Sept 2016, I am just getting around to posting this NEGATIVE review.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The only reason I'm not leaving 1 star is because the job was done correctly.

I called 7 times to get a copy of a paid invoice, was transferred multiple times, told to call back, etc. When I finally did receive a copy of the invoice I requested a call or an email (on 2 separate phone call ins) from the plumber who performed the work to give a more detailed description of what he did. I got a call back from a woman who very rudely read back the invoice to me and told me ""most of the time they don't remember the details anyway, the job is done, obviously, and he's too busy for the next 2 days so you won't be hearing from him any time soon"".

I will never refer or use Roto Rooter, there are plenty of other companies who are happy for your business who are pleasant to work with.

I called on 1/2/2017 to schedule a appointment to replace the handle and plug on the toilet. They told me there was a minimum charge of $89.95 for coming out. When they came out on 1/5/2017, the minimum charge had changed to $225 plus parts. He was in and out of the house within 10 minutes which breaks down to an hourly rate of $1,350. I asked them why they told me the minimum rate was $89.95 and then charged me a minimum of $225. The response was that it was $89.95 just to come and do nothing. If they do anything, it is $225. Pretty skanky! The real bonus here was that they couldn't manage to do this simplest of jobs correctly and the toilet began to leak. It took 3 days for them to reschedule for 1/13/2017 so that from the time I first called to completion, it was 11 days to get a new handle on the toilet. When they came back on 1/13 to fix the leakage that their work had caused, they made an adjustment and left. An hour later, the toilet was leaking again and they had to come back again. What a terrible place to do business. I will never use them again!

Louis A. just came to work on our house. He was awesome. Very professional and he solved a big problem that was caused during construction of our home. He even offered to talk with the construction plumber to explain what he did, helping us show it is under our home warranty. Great work and great service!!

Find another plumbing service - these guys cancel more than they show up and cost more than your neighborhood plumber. No respect for clients time or possessions; honestly they just make whatever plumbing problem worse with their incompetency.

I was on break at work and me and a few co workers went pokemon hunting because there was an alakazam. I started walking and two of their employees stopped me and told me where it was. It ran away, but still that was super nice of you! Thank you!
