Noticed a drain backed up near our a/c unit in the basement at 5pm on Tuesday night - called Roto-Rooter and they were here by 9pm fixing the issue. Swift prompt service and no ""after hours"" or overtime fees. The drain is flowing smoothly now! Nick was as courteous and knowledgeable as could be expected. Great service!

The only reason they did not receive 5 stars is that I would've liked for them to explain what was going on more. That said, they sent someone out on a holiday weekend (after my husband attempted to DIY) who told me exactly what supplies I needed to get and where to get them in order to save money. That alone ended up saving us $200, and the consideration was greatly appreciated. Our shower is now functioning better than before, and our bathroom was left in neat condition when they finished.

Called Rotorooter on Saturday to set up a Sunday repair. The operator was friendly and we gave her a 4 hour window from noon to 4 pm when we would be available. At 2 pm and at 4 pm I got a call saying the repairman was running behind, but they couldn't give me an estimate on arrival time. The technician arrived around 5 pm. This was the only problem we had with their service.
Zach Wilkins 0181 was friendly and knowledgable and was able to quickly fix our leaky hot water shutoff valve. He had the parts he needed with him in the van. The whole procedure was done in under an hour. They are available 24/7, which is very nice.

My experience with Roto Rooter got off to a rocky start. The first day they cancelled their appointment. The second day they sent a technician that did not come prepared with the correct tools to complete the job and he broke one of the kitchen drain pipe fittings. The third day they sent Matt #2719 and he was able to fix the drain and repaired the pipe that was broken with a repair that I hope but question will last. The technicians were both very friendly and professional.

The call, placed Friday at 9am, with a promised arrival time window from 11am-1pm. What actually happened was the arrival of the Tech Robbie at 7pm. BTW, he did not even report to work until 4pm, when his shift started. He cleared the clog, but his device gashed a large hole in the pipe. Since it was then 9pm, and the damage was to a joint, a licensed plumber would be needed. However, since the plumber supply was closed, the plumber was scheduled for 8:30am the following day (Saturday). Well at 8:30 on Saturday, the call came in that perhaps someone would arrive by noon. So we rescheduled the plumber to Monday at 6pm. Well Monday at 6pm came, and the plumber actually arrived at 9pm. He had the wrong size pipe, we needed a 3' and he brought a 4"". We rescheduled for Tuesday at 6pm. He arrived and repaired the pipe. No shower from Friday night at 9pm until Tuesday night near 9pm, Charge was $287 to unplug the drain. I will never call Roto Rooter again. Period, end of story.

Would like to thank our tech Zach Wilkins 0181 on a great job. No one wants to deal with an issue related to plumbing at Thanksgiving. He was great in helping ease my frustrations. Explained everything in detail and fixed the problem. Not to mention an all around nice caring guy! I would use this company again, called within 2 hours someone was here.
Because of you Zach I can do dishes again.. Thanks!! ""I think""....lol
