This was the 2nd time I've had to call RR for an emergency, and this is the 2nd time they've done well by me. The first time I used them, they fixed a pin-hole leak in my water heater. Took about an hour, and they didn't charge much at all. This time, a broken exhaust pipe was found in my attic. I called on the off chance that someone could get there that same day without charging me an rush fee, and they were able to do just that. Guy came out, took a couple hours, and it was all fixed for me, no rush charges. It wasn't cheap mind you, I had to bite back some tears, but I guess you do get what you pay for. My new pipe looks amazing at least! And he fixed it to where it would flex so it wouldn't break again. Each technician I've had has been super nice as well. They are my go-to guys.

Just got a clogged pipe close to the toilet. They arrived promptly but estimate was $450. I told them no way I was going to pay that much. Technician asked how much was I willing to pay and I said no more than $250 since it was an easy fix. He said he had to call his boss. Came back and said ok, his boss said could do the job for $250. What the heck? That made me even more upset. These people are robbing customers just because they are in need. Then I told him I would pay for the visit/estimate but was not having the job done by them.s He said it was $65, but would only bill me $30... I'm still confused!

Roto-rooter arrived in time window given me. They provided excellent service and techican showed great knowledge and provided excellent service. Flody was techican and made a few trips to Menards for parts but did the job right. Price for time spent seemed fair. Recommend them for service. Robert Bolt. Service done 6-21-14.,

The 1st couple of times we used them we were very happy. We had to call them back a 3rd time for warranty issue with a clogged drain. The same guy came back and was not pleasant at all. He was very rude and grumpy. He mentioned that it counts against him if it's not right and he has to come back. He just kept saying the issue was us and we needed to do more to keep this from happening. He was belittling me and my family. He even had me do most of the work to refix the problem since it was our fault(his words). I will be using some else in the future that doesn't treat people like crap.

I was very pleased with the entire process. I had called several plumbers on Monday evening and they could not come until Wed. But, Roto-Rooter said they could come out as early as that evening. The tech was very professional and courteous. He completed the work for the price that was quoted and cleaned up afterwards. Then an additional inspector called the following day to come out and video inspect the work. I feel confident the work was done properly and will call again!

The technician arrived hours after the window given to us, but it seemed to be an under-estimate on the part of the scheduling headquarters. Once the technician arrived, he didn't leave until he exhausted all possibilities and gave us his honest opinion. The same technician arrived the next evening on time and in the middle of a snow storm. He and a fellow technician installed a new water heater and dragged away the old one. We felt we were given good service and professional treatment.

So our drains plugged badly in the kitchen and laundry. We tried our best to Drano/Liquid Plumber it to no avail. So my wife called Roto-Rooter at 10:40 p.m. and talked to the representative. He said he'd have someone here between 9 and 11 a.m. this morning. Sure enough our service rep was here a couple minutes after 9. He was efficient, courteous and had out pipes fixed in less than an hour. It was a little pricier than I'd like to have spent; however, the two plumbers I know personally were unable to help. I'd call again without hesitation. And I'd recommend to a friend. That goes a long way!

Roto-rooter came out to clear our stoppage in the plumping and also used a camera to locate the problem. They only charged one fee (as opposed to another company we used). The also left the area looking clean!! (Last company made a complete mess) I was so pleased to have a house that remained clean after plumbing work.

I do not know your pre-conceived notions of what Roto-Rooter will be priced or their job at your home. For us we had a clogged kitchen sink because of old pipes. The use of chemicals and our piddly snake didn't unclog the pipe after a good days work at it. Their snake unclogged out pipe and as a result, which I found out from Jeff looking at my pipe scheme once, that the slow drainage we were experiencing will be fixed. He also told us about options outside of buying their chemicals treatment, why their treatment kicks butt too, and what we can do to prevent other clogs. It was $235 but a coupon is available online, which Jeff and the Roto-Rooter dispatcher mentioned. All in all I am very happy with the service. We are glad the money put in comes with a 6 months clog free guarantee and that our sink works!

You may of had bad service but our service was great and out first choice if needed again.

We had been working with another company for some time with a recurring problem in the plumbing of our home. It began to dawn on me that the recurrence might be due to other factors than just our home. So when the problem occurred again, I called the other company. A guy came out and told me he couldn't fix it. I think actually he didn't want to fix it; it was a nice day and he didn't seem to want to be here.

So I called Roto-Rooter, and immediately wished I had just called them in the first place. They sent a guy out right away. He was polite, courteous, and very hard working. He fixed the problem better than it had ever been fixed by the other guys, and the bill was exactly what he had said, and quite reasonable. I highly recommend them!
