I was in a panic when I came in my house and there was water leaking from the ceiling. From the minute I called Roto-Rooter I knew I was in good hands. The person who was on the phone was very calming and said I called the right place and they would help me and send someone out within 2 hours. I received two phone calls prior to keep me posted on when the service technician (Rob) would arrive. Rob arrived and was able to fix the problem quickly. Everything has been perfect! I would totally recommend them and will call again if need!!!

im extremely happy . i originally had a different small company guy come out. he never showed up or even call me i was upset bc it was my only day off and we just moved in 3 weeks ago to our new house . i started looking online what was avoidable roto rooter came up they sent me a technician right way with in 1h he was here Alex was amazing he fixet our sink and reinstalled a new garbage disposal i defensibly looking foreword working with this company i defiantly recorded it was affordable and fast

Had a clogged kitchen sink drain line in a townhouse that I rent out. They were very prompt in getting out to the property and the job was completely quickly. However, the price tag of $405 to snake a drain was ridiculous. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't have the option to get other estimates. Beware. This company is a rip off.

Great customer service, worked around our hectic schedule with ease. They were able to come within the hour I called to schedule and they gave a price free of charge at the time of the estimate. Not to mention the timeliness of the service which started right after the estimate, No need to make 2 different appointments. The men were friendly, fast and the price was not as bad as I imagined. Plus, they have coupons on the website and if you check in on Yelp, you get 60$ off which is pretty good. Overall great and fast service, we will definitely be calling again if we have any issues. Only reason for my 4 and not 5 star review is because after the serviceman came out he broke a piece of his equipment and left and had to come back without giving a time frame and they wound up sending someone else who was able to fix our issue in about 4 hours.

Their service was amazing and the tech (Vince) was awesome!! He got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be using this company from now on. If you are in the Canonsburg, PA area ask for Vince. He does a great job and is very professional. He is literally like a one man army. I hand to replace bath tub fixtures and the plumber root of router sent was professional and knowledgeable. Ozie (the plumber) took the time to make sure it was done correctly. I am very pleased and will be using them for my future plumbing needs.

Poor craftsmanship, failure to return phone calls, misleading and confusing fine print on how to handle warrantied/guaranteed work, poor customer service from ""KC"" when trying to resolve the issue to my satisfaction (not hers.) In fact, I was hung up on. Never again...look elsewhere! Go local (not corporate) and check out plumber numbers!

When we called a plumber to snake two drains, I was under the impression this would be somewhere in the range of $250-$300. Several
Local plumbers had quoted this, but none of them could come out as quickly. For 1.5 hours of work I was charged $907.02 with NO EXPLANATION PRIOR that the tech's labor fee would be $861.00

Unless your Roto Rooter plumber happens to use a drain snake made of gold and crusted with diamonds, pass them on by for your local neighborhood plumber.

I will never use Roto Rooter ever again. What a scam.

Update: Surprisingly, Roto Rooter heard my complaints and decided to bring the bill down to a much more manageable and reasonable level. While I can't say that I will use their service again in the future at this time, I will say this: They heard, and listened. Which I appreciate very very much. I'll be changing my star review from a 1 to a 3 as a way of saying thanks.

I had my sump pump and backup pumps replaced after the original ones malfunctioned. Roto Rooter knew the urgency so accommodated to my time and gave me a very competitive price on parts and labor. They were courteous and very thorough in their work. Highly recommend them over anyone else.

I had a backed up toilet that need prompt repair. I called late in the afternoon. They sent a Tech to come between 5-7. The tech arrived around 6. He nice and professional. Wore booties in the house. Looked at toilet told me what he thought it needed, gave me an estimate before starting, had me sign the went to work. After about 15-20, he called me to let me the first approach was not working and he would need to pull the toilet to clear the clog. Again gave me an estimate an got my agreement before starting work. About 20-30 minutes later he called me up again to show me the toilet was fixed! He flushed toilet paper down several time to prove the clog was cleared, pointed out somethings that may need attention soon. Cleaned up and was on his way.

May only complaint is that it was a little pricey, and he could've cleaned up a little better. But overall, a good experience! Toilet fixed same day!
