If I could give this company 10 stars I would. My basement flooded so I put a call in to Roto-Rooter they arrived within 20 minutes! 1 employee assessed the problem & within 10 minutes had 5 other employees there to help including the owner Xavier! These men worked furiously to get all my belongings out of water & onto a tarp. They snaked the drain & the water soon disappeared they began disinfecting & clean up immediately. Another employee got us on the phone with our insurance taking care of the entire ordeal with no additional stress to us. They are beyond helpful, informative, & courteous every step of this process was clearly explained to us before we agreed or spent any money with them. These guys took a very scary and stressful situation & really helped turn it around into something positive for our family. Wish every consumer interaction was this pleasurable. Thank you to Xavier, Mike, Gil and every employee that was here our family appreciates you all.

Scheduled an appointment early Sunday morning online. I was given a time between 12 and 2pm. The actually arrived 30 minutes early. They gave me 3 options to choose from and explained each in detail. When they were finished they cleaned up the mess and explained they service and what they had found. They also told me I had 6 month coverage on the work they did. They were very friendly and it didn't cost extra for weekend work. I don't know if their prices were high or not, but I don't think I could of gotten another plumber in on a Sunday.

We discovered water all over our basement floor and my husband called several places and Roto-Rooter was the only service that answered. Our technician, Chris, arrived right away and diagnosed that our water heater had rusted through the bottom. He gave us two estimates and his honest opinion about which course we should take. He also communicated to us exactly what would happen the next day as far as how replacing the tank would go. It went smoothly and the tank worked just as he said it would.

There are multiple phone numbers for this place, but I believe this is the same location. The yellow pages has it listed as (330) 269-7603, but they kept calling me from an office number of (330) 792-1594 (one time, even came in with yet another number labeled as Michigan). No matter what number it is they go by? Stay the hell away.

I got a window between 1-3 pm for a plumber to show up. At around 2 pm, I received a call that said they were running behind. Couldn't give me any idea of a time frame. It was about ten til that I called them and said ""it's almost the end of my window, and I get there was a problem, but I have to leave for a meeting soon, and my husband won't be home til x time."" The woman in the office was very apologetic and said that wasn't an issue, she would let the guys know, and she wasn't even sure how much longer they were going to be anyway. I also gave her my husband's number so they could call him whenever it was they were coming. At this point, I'm irritated, but I understand things happen and the woman gave me zero hassle about it, understanding the fact it was their fault.

However... Fast forward to 6:15 pm and I'm still in my meeting and get a phone call from them. (I gave you my husband's number for a reason.) They left a voicemail saying they were still behind and would get to me as soon as possible. WHAT?! I called my husband when I was finished at 8 pm to find out if they ever showed. Nope. So, here I am, calling the office again. They're still behind and ""we apologize"" and blah, blah. Are you serious, at this point? So she calls back to connect me with her ""tech"" who has no idea why we're even speaking. I ask him how long this is going to be, to give me some kind of time frame. He has no idea. REALLY?! He calls me again at 10:22 pm and tells me he can be at my house within 45 mins. Are you kidding me?

Needless to say, I told him not to bother. I called Mr. Rooter in the morning, who came out within the hour to fix my problem.

Quick service, done correctly (time will tell). Little pricey, but guaranteed for life.
They cleaned up after job leaving minimal mess for me to clean up afterwards.

Wow. Rip off & price-gouging at it's best. I had them out to ""jet"" my sewer line from my house to the septic tank (aprox. 30'). Pretty sure they saw an opportunity to gouge me since this is a rental property & I was out of town at the time the work was done. $1116.95 later & I'm not real happy about it. Tom's Sewer & Drain is the way to go. Reasonable rates, & thorough work. Tom's did a great job on my other house & will definitely be getting my exclusive patronage from now on. Sorry Roto-Rooter ""Gouge me once, shame on you. Gouge me twice... not gonna happen.""

Very friendly and fast service! I used the Youngstown location roto rooter. I needed all of my drains fixed in my sinks and tubs. I also had no access doors to my pipes.. They did a great job making an access door (without making a mess) and getting the job done quickly! I'd use them again :)

This is a follow-up to my previous two reviews. On the bright side, one of the owners of this franchise contacted me. Lonnie was very polite and empathetic, and after talking with her, I feel much better, even though I am still slightly shocked by the cost. I have to admit a lot of that is my fault for agreeing to the original estimate of $1157.00 without questioning what that would entail. She will be following up with an itemized invoice that I should have requested initially. As I said in my original review, I had no complaints on the services provided by Dan and JB (?). They were very efficient and provided excellent service. I have much more work to be done here at my home, and I may consider once again having Roto-Rooter giving me an estimate. This time I will be sure to do my homework and not jump into something without consideration. Thank you, Lonnie, for your kind concern in our phone call.

I had roto rooter overcharge around $300 to pay for unclogging two drains and then the plumber refused to honor his 30 day warranty when the drain became plugged again. I also had a nasty call from Kim at roto rooter who lied and said that I didn't purchase a screen for the drains which I did the same Jim fixed the drains. I think this company is a nasty racist lieing cheating company that will be sued for not honoring warranties!

Wow, what a day... What started out as a twist of my tub knob turned into a blown out valve and water spraying everywhere... I wasn't able to get a hold of any plumbers on a Friday at 5pm after going through the yellow pages - not a single one picked up (mind you, water is GUSHING from the pipe - through the house and down two floors).... Until i finally found roto rooter number. Wish I had found their number first... Jim (our serviceman) was here in a jiffy and took care of everything. In a situation that was awful and scary, Jim was able to get the problem fixed right away. While I wish I never had to meet Jim, I was thankful for the great service he gave and all the follow-up instructions he gave (we need a new valve and some fixing to drywall, etc)... I recommend this particular plumber to anyone. Thank you and we would absolutely recommend it!!!
