Awful, scammy company that relies on scare tactics and manipulative panic-pressure to sell people on unnecessary projects. They quoted us $8800 for an unnecessary exploratory dig claiming that a clog must be a collapsed pipe ruining their equipment. A local company came out and cleared the pipes for $900. Just an awful, lying company.

Plumbing was backed up, had Roto Rooters come to the house and check it out. Tried snaking for a short period and said he couldn't do anything, the pipes had collapsed, and that we would have to dig an 8ft trench to replace the piping with an estimate of 10,800$. We called a different plumber to come out the next day, he snaked and cleared the blockage, says pipes were fine, 2 hours and only 850$.

The service was EXCELLENT!!! Quick, neat, professional, fixed problem. I have no complaints with the service. However, the cost to 'snake"" one drain after a $50.00 discount, was $$$390.41!!!!! Which means that it was $440.41 to run a snake down a drain! This is ABSOLUTELY outrageous!!! My husband could have purchased an electric snake for cheaper then that and would have been able to unclog all of our drains for life. This is what we will be doing next time. I would not recommend Roto-Rooter nor will I ever call them again because of price gouging !!!!! I know that repair professionals are expensive, but this was robbery!!!

STAY AWAY: I called them to find out why my unfinished basement smells bad and also to determine if there is any clogs in the main... They came in , put a camera in main and that was supposed to ""run from basement to all the way to the sewer line."" per the technician. After 30 mins, I was told we are actually connected to septic. That cost me $250. The technician spent almost 2 hours to find where my septic was. They offered another camera check service for other restroom, dye testing, another $220. They called their so-called supervisor. Of course, this is a show. They spend the entire day at your home, look busy, call supervisors, give you impression they are there for you. Keep charging right and left. The whole 6-hour long $500 work was pointless and for no reason. A dye testing for $220!!!!! At the end of the day, they put a cover on my drain for $50 without even asking me. Since I was not at home, they took advantage of my wife not knowing what I was not informed about. Today, I called them about the outcome, after 2 days not hearing back about a solution. They won't call you because they got their daily need of $550!!!! Now they are asking for $2800 to dig. REALLY? That is the cost for replacing a septic and remember, this is still diagnosis.

We want to commend Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services for their professional, timely response to our plumbing concern. Marco and Ryan were here this morning and did a great job. We liked that we were given a free estimate prior and no attempt was made to make the job more than it was.
