I called cause my dad had the floor drain clogged in the basement and the basement flooded with about 5 inches of water. They sent one person and he saw the flooded basement and walked right out and said he will call my dad's home insurance to see what they cover. He didn't even check the problem. Few hours later someone from the same company showed up and told my dad the whole thing to fix will cost over $2k . I called for my dad to find out they sent a water restoration person giving him estimates on how much clean up was going to be!! He just wanted someone to unclogged the drain. I eventually called a H. Jack's Plumbing and Heating and they came and unclogged the drain by hydro jet and the water went down in minutes. And price was reasonable!

I had a bad experience with this company. I'm frustrated enough to come on Yelp and write my first review. I was out of town and my toilet tank cracked, and my mother in law called them to replace it. I didn't consent to this job as the homeowner.

Look things happen sometimes, and I simply called in to the company to see if an accommodation was available considering I did not want to have this job done on my home in the first place. For example, I asked if I could pick my own toilet from their options (the one they installed is $99 online, and I would have paid them for a more expensive one - mind you, they charged her over $1,000 for this job, but the price tag is just tip of the iceberg). I offered to install the new one myself if they could get me a better model. I also inquired about getting my old toilet back, which was taken from my home after their technician completed the job. Instead of being met with customer service and respect, I was connected with a manager named Jason who treated me like gum on his shoes.

I explained the situation, and he started by saying to me ""well this is a better toilet than you're gonna get at Home Depot, because we inspect them"". I told him ""who says I'd get it from Home Depot? I just want a better quality toilet"". I explained my situation as the homeowner, and he condescendingly said to me ""if you think about it logically, we did everything right"", referring to my qualms about not consenting to the job as the home owner.

I asked how I can get my old toilet back, to assess the damage for myself and handle it myself, and Jason curtly told me to go to the dumpster where they threw it out and see if it's there.

I asked him the simple question, what is the model toilet that they installed? He told me to check the invoice, I told him it wasn't there, and he told me to look on the toilet for the make and the model.

Every question I asked was redirected rather than taking a moment to respond. When I asked for the opportunity to choose my own toilet from their selection, he said that people all get the same toilet. When I asked him what toilet they installed, he curtly told me he didn't know. When I told him it was a Gerber, he suddenly knew it was a Viper. When I asked him how he couldn't take a second to tell me what it was when I asked the first time, he proceeded to cut me off and list off the generic brand names for toilets, American Standard, etc, and then condescendingly said ""there's a lot of toilets"". When I responded with ""wait so you do have different options for toilets?"" he said ""90% of people get the same toilet"".

You get the idea, it was just constant sales redirection tactics rather than taking a second to remedy a situation that they did not have to be in in the first place, if they had checked with the homeowner before removing my property and taking it with them on their truck after the job was completed. Jason also let me know that ""it sounds like you're just upset that your mother in law did this"", and reiterated over and over that because she is over 18 that they did nothing wrong as a company.

Like I said, things happen, and I can understand to an extent how this all went down. All that I asked for was a decent remedy to my frustration with them not doing their due diligence re talking with the homeowner. And to reiterate, I was even planning on spending MORE money with them to pick a toilet with the make and color that I wanted. Instead I was met with diversion tactics and disrespect. When he told me ""well you're more than welcome to buy a new toilet and install it yourself"", that was probably the high water mark.

PS - to remove the toilet they installed, I had to spend 20 minutes with channel locks to get the nut off of the stripped bolt that was anchoring the toilet to the floor, so that was a nice added bonus. Thanks a lot folks.

First blocked kitchen drain with disposal. They cleaned all the underground basement drains, gee that's good. But for some reason forgot the blocked kitchen drain. Ah, returned the next day and cleared the kitchen drain, nice. Water flows, but how in the world did I end up with only hot water coming out of the kitchen faucet. Why did they screw with the water supply? And I have a special ""boiling water"" faucet on the sink, which no longer is functional. Seems like they took the output of that ""heater"" and connected it to the kitchen faucet, so no cold water. Geez, what a mess. And after two days more than 15 hours of screwing around and worse than before.

Roto-rooter Cleveland overall was very responsive to my call. We called during the week to schedule for the next day which was weekend. On Saturday they came out to fix our toilet on the second floor where was a water leak. They quickly fixed it, it was simple as tightening some stuff that I would not know!

The price was very very reasonable and they were professionals entering into our home with shoe covers.

I asked them if Saturday considered an urgent call because some companies do that and charge extra but for them it was not an extra charge.

The drain under the laundry basin on basement floor was backing up. So I called them to tell me the reason for this. The technician said He will have to look at two drains (main sewer drain and the drain that was the issue) each for 389 plus 99 and I will charge you only for one. The technician snaked out the roots from sewer saying the cause is roots in the drain and charged me 489. Since he already discounted for one drain he won't take company coupon. He asked me to schedule another inspection with camera so that the actual issue can be resolved. The actual issue is another 490 and then they will fix the actual issue. What kind of company is this?
Why am I writing this?
For public awareness and also when you call them know exactly what you want of them to do and else they will double charge you. (Emergency fix when not an emergency and then actual fix).
