When we had to have our drains snaked I was a little disappointed with the service, but the customer service team did work really hard to make it right, sending the tech back out to fix the problem and refunding the bill.

Honestly, for their the price I would have expected more thorough service the first time around, but they did work hard to correct the problems.

Called Roto Rooter for the first time yesterday to fix a clogged kitchen sink. Called 1:00 p.m. and was told someone would be there in two hours. To make a long story short, a technician arrived at 10:00 p,m. and finished the job at 11:30 p.m. The good news is that he was able to fix the problem. The technician was a very polite, friendly man, very professional. He explained what he had to do, what it would cost and worked very hard to solve the problem. I was very happy with him, but very unhappy with waiting the entire day. I feel they never had any intention of having someone come in the two hours as I was first told. I was told by the phone operator and the technician that this was a particularly bad day, that this amount of time was not usual. However, I have no reason to believe this is true. I am not sure I would call them again.

Previous reviews scared me, (super dude?) but I was in a pinch and called. On time, courteous, and even though more then what I thought, I don't have a super dude however the technician (Eddie) is my new super dude. He spend several hours cleaning the sewer line, cleaning up after himself and gave advice on what not to flush (baby wipes are bad)

Right on time. Called 7:20 Am or so. Emailed time guarantee here by 9:15 AM. Arrived 8:40 AM. Plan on spending $400 or so. They won't tell you over the phone. No standing water or anything and I think I'm at max price. Guarantee 6 months. Hopefully he can clear it. Excellent took him about an hour. Pleasant, clean and neat and even put things back. I would highly recommend and hope I am lucky with my old house and old sewer. i paid $400 this year and looked back through records of past sewer cleaning. I paid $263 2 years ago to another firm. Could prices have gone up $136?

Called the well known company Roto -Rooter hoping for the best. Ultimately I look for someone I can trust (because you never know). They sent out Glenn who was friendly and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable and took care of the situation with confidence. He was able to fix multiple problems. The pricing was average and well worth it. I am pleased with the service and will call for plumber Glenn in the future.

During a rain storm a couple of years ago my sump pump went into overdrive and did not switch off anymore. It was old and needed replacement before it burnt out all together and I would be faces with the flooding of my utility basement. Roto-Rooter did a good job replacing my old unit. However, I was over charged, about double of what the initial estimate was, and mislead in various ways The technician said he would take a drive to the Home Depot to buy one and only charge me half for the time and drive. Well, a fighter jet would not have been to HD and back as fast as this technician did.... I think he had a pump in his truck, left for 15 minutes and came back. He never presented a HD receipt nor any guarantee on the replacement pump. I can do stuff like this myself, but decided to call the specialist as it was a bit of an emergency situation. Whilst I realize that this comes at a price and am not shy to pay for good, honest execution, I was clearly taken for a good old ride... Say no more.

I called the company after my toilet started overflowing. I am told that a tech would be at my house within 3 hours...... perfect. When the deadline hit, I was told they would be here within the 3 hours after that. 6pm comes around and I'm told they'd be here at 9. 9 rolls around and what do you know? JoLean or whatever her name is calls from Maryland to tell me that they'll be coming the following morning anywhere from 9 to 1. It's now 11:30 a.m. and I'm throwing in the towel. Found a local plumber who will be here in 10 minutes. F$%^ you, Rotorooter for wasting my weekend.
