To replace a filler valve in my toilet, I was quoted $495 for labor and $70 for the part. When I told him it was too high, he asked me what I would want to pay and he could give me a discount. I couldn't get him out if my house fast enough. My handyman came by the next day and replaced it for $70, including labor. Don't ever use them.

I had a clogged drain in a tub/shower. They wouldn't give a price over the phone. Showed up and said they needed to snake the line, $660. I said nope, get out, that's absurd. Price immediately drops by 25%. The technician then proceeds to snake the line, but from the overflow at the top of the tub rather than from the drain. 10 Minutes later he thinks he's leaving. Um no, you were hired to unclog a drain, and you haven't actually touched the drain! He acted like I was a big pain the rear, and that wasn't his job. Turns out, he can't figure out how to remove the stopper from the drain, and winds up just fishing the clogged hair out with his screwdriver. The clog was in the drain, as I suspected all along. The line never needed to be snaked, and the technician had every intention of leaving without actually fixing anything. But of course, he asked for a 5-star review on the way out. My recommendation is to not use them. I don't blame the technician. I believe this is what he's paid to do.

called roto rooter because my sewer was clogged, they came out and snaked the sewer and the water was again running smoothly. I paid them 479.81, so therefore I thought my problem was fixed only for my sewer to clog up again today which is six days later. I once again called roto rooter because they issued me a six month warranty, the plumber comes out snaked my sewer line once again and said there's nothing else he could do, the water was not going down correctly, so my husband spoke to a manager where he told my husband there was nothing else they could do, but did not refund my 479.81,I will never use them again and I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau, DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS YEARS AGO, shame on Roto rooter
