How anyone can charge almost $500 to just diagnose an issue & to say it's a septic problem is just not right. Sorry, will never use again. Felt like I was scammed.

Terrible customer service. Stated I can park on my driveway in 2 weeks, and do remaining work needed to be done after job...6 weeks later started work and had a partial collapse in the driveway, which they stated multiple times would not happen after 2 weeks of settling...multiples workers and managers stated there would be no issue with the driveway collapsing after 2 weeks of settling. Customer service would get 0/10 if possible

Did not fix our clogged drain! We spent $390 for a 15 minute service call for a backed up kitchen sink / clogged drain. They snaked the drain but it didn't work, The only solution offered was to go further with snake but there was 50/50 chance it would break the trap. They recommended using chemicals to unclog, We gave the chemicals a shot to no avail. We ended up calling a local plumber in our town who tried to unclog, another $450 out of pocket without a fix. The local plumber recommended that we call a larger company like Roto Rooter or Mr Rooter because they have special equipment that goes further in drain and sprays water. Since Roto Rooter didn't help the first time around, we opted to call Mr Rooter and problem fixed! Shame in Roto Rooter, I think they guys that were dispatched to our house didn't want to be bothered with our drain issue. Terrible service and we will never call Roto Rooter again.

Do not use They do not stand by their word Paid a lot of money to have a clogged fix. Same problem 4 weeks later they came back didn't stand by their guarantee and wanted to charge insane price again. Had to call a new plumber to fix the problem. Today is Wednesday March 25th. During this extremely trying time due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus, everyone self quarantining, cases rising daily, markets crashing, being unable to go to work and everyone worried about getting sick and running out of supplies... the last thing I needed was a cesspool line clog. Me and my family are home, dealing with all of the challenges everyone else is, but now we cannot flush the toilet, the line is completely clogged. I called Roto Rooter of Smithtown at 9AM hoping someone would answer and give me good news that they can help me because I could not begin to imagine how horrible the days would be for my family self quarantining with no ability to flush our toilet or run our faucets. They answered immediately, took my information and asked what the problem was. Within 20 minutes, a service tech showed up at my house in Selden. Ken Gallagher was the service tech. He also listened to what I had to say regarding the issue we were having with our cesspool system. He immediately sprung into action and jumped into troubleshooting the issue. He snaked thru the line, he crawled under the house into a small crawl space, he cleaned out my trap under the house and replaced trap plugs. He was prompt, he was professional, he communicated with me as he worked, letting me know what he was doing and why. He even drew me a picture of my system and the cesspool line and the vent so I fully understood what my issue was and how he was able to get me back up and running. Me and my family are grateful for Roto Rooter and for Ken for preventing a tough situation becoming even more challenging. I want to thank Roto Rooter and Ken personally for their dedication to their trade and for helping me and my family today. I will absolutely recommend them. No reason to call anyone else. Thank you.

TERRIBLE!!! Our toilet overflowed bad and leaked through to the floor below. Shut the water off and it was still dripping down to the floor below! I know it's a holiday but we called at 130pm and they told us they would call shortly with a time estimate. We explained that it was an emergency cause the water was dripping from the ceiling onto to the floor below. They said don't worry we will be there soon. SIX HOURS later we heard NOTHING! So we called back, they said sorry you are on the list and would check with the driver and call us back. TWO more hours of water in our ceiling and no bathroom in the house, we called back AGAIn and NO ANSWER!!! WASTED AN ENTIRE DAY WAITING FOR THEM! CALL ANOTHER COMPANY! we did and they were at the house in an hour!

The service was quick. Within 2hrs the tech was here and tech was nice, experienced and resolved the issue quick which was a simple clog. However I agree with all the comments here that they don't quote prices over the phone and they are ridiculously expensive. A simple bathtub clog that took 20min to snake cost me $571 which with a normal plumber would be half that. So hire beware.

Very dishonest from the start, from start to finish. They do not quote you any pricing on the phone, they say,""when their service technician comes out, they will access the situation"",(laughable). How do they assess you ask? The ""technician"" stands with a flashlight and starts with, ""to snake the line and use chemicals is 569.00, to use the camera is 469.00."" What a joke, they wasted my time, assessing the situation. To the unsuspecting customers, be aware and careful because they will take your money with no problems. For those that are elderly, be careful, call a local plumber, or get a recommended plumber from a neighbor. Really disingenuous from the start!!!

My tech was an hour late and wanted $450.00 plus tax to clear a toilet line. On top of that he acted annoyed when we questioned the price. I called another company and had it done for less than half the price with no attitude. BUYER BEWARE
