Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We recently had a minor drip that was made into a running faucet under the sink by another plumbing service. Called Roto- Rooter they came when they said the would, provided exceptional service, and fixed the problem. We are completely satisfied with the wonderful customer service that Service Tech Jeff provided. He even reminded my parents of the original Roto- Rooter commercial tune! Roto- Rooter that's the name, and away your troubles down the drain! Lol!

although the service went ok. My tenant came home the next day with the water from the hose the technician used still running into the clean out. Which means it was running into the sewer for 24 hours. Cant imagine how much my water bill will be. I think he should have seen this if he would have completed the job, by closing the clean out cap!

Rotor Rooter did a GREAT job where Cool Air Now could not.

This started out as a complaint against Cool Air Now, so a lot of what is written below reflects my negative experience with Cool Air Now. Nonetheless, because I want to recognize Rotor Rooter for a job well done, here's my story:

On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, Cool Air Now sent out a plumber to unclog my drain; he did not. Instead he/Cool Air Now charged me $200, and then told me that I would have to pay an additional $725 (total: $925) for the plumber to Hydrojet it, because the snake the plumber used would not do the job. Either they were trying to scam me of an additional $725 or they employ incompetent plumbers, because three day later Rotor Rooter cleaned it out with a snake and charged me $235. Cool Air Now's management would not reimburse me one penny, or have the courtesy to talk to me about this problem.

Representing Cool Air Now. I dealt with Michelle and Yessie over the phone @ (702) 410-673, and spoke to the plumber as well.

Representing Roto Rooter. I dealt with Viranda over the phone @ (702) 646-7501. I also spoke to the plumber, Francisco. Buy the way, Francisco guaranteed me BEFORE DOING ANY WORK that he could UNCLOG IT WITH A SNAKE, and if he could not, he would not charge me one penny.

Cool Air Now came out on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 and Rotor Rooter came out on Friday July 31, 2015 to my place at 5541 Big Sea Street, Las Vegas NV 89110.

This is not an advertisement for Rotor Rooter. I am Rogers Eugene Shellman, owner of the home at the address listed above since January 1990, and this is my statement of my experience with Cool Air Now and Rotor Rooter.

Made an appointment for a free estimate and the next day, Sam was right on time. Looked at the problem and within 30 minutes had the problem fixed right! Very friendly and professional. I recommend!

Should have called them First! After Mr Rooter never came out after 2 appointments. I called Roto Rooter. Less then an hour from my call a technician was at my door. Fixed my garbage disposal & snaked the line. Includes a 6 month warranty too. Great customer service & a fair price. Use the REAL deal Roto Rooter. Sam is The Man! Ask for him highly recommend him. Btw had $50 Yelp coupon he honored.

Horrible. I should have checked yelp first. Called them today based off of google reviews. Showed up on time and fit me into their schedule quickly. When the plumber arrived to fix my garbage disposal which had a nail lodged in it, he told me that he would have to charge me 154.95 to ""try"" to remove it and that if he couldn't i would have to pay $400.00 to replace the unit. My house is six months old, the disposal is brand new. So I said ok...there's no reason he shouldn't have the tools to remove a lodged screw right? This is basic... I'm sure we aren't the only ones that have gotten something stuck in the disposal. So anyways, he starts looking at it and then tells me the grinding noise is rust on the bottom of the disposal. I quickly told him No, I've seen the screw it's not rust. After insisting it was there he finally found out. He tinkered with it for about 20 minutes, asked me for a clothes hanger!! And then told me couldn't remove it and I would need to pay 400.00. Wtf?!? So then I was like well then take the whole garbage disposal apart and you should be able to get the screw regardless of the seal since now we went from removing a screw to replacing a unit. He refuses and says it's too much work. Omfg. This he asks me if I want to buy a new unit for 423.00 and some change with military discount (since obviously I was in my uniform still). I said F no. I think Next time I call a plumber it won't be from this D team company. What a joke! It's a SCREW, and your technicians are lazy and il-equipped. Luckily he didn't charge me for this half assed effort, atleast I don't think so. We will see if a bill arrives in the mail with my name on it. DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS.

Call Roto-Rooter that's the name!

After dealing with a Union Plumbing & American Home Shield that could not solve our problem we called Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services late at night our plumber named Sam he showed up at 3:00 AM with a super positive attitude, he brought the right equipment fixed the problem and used a camera to prove to us that It was fixed
,all within one hour of his arrival and also explained why Union Plumbing & American Home Shield failed to solve our problem. At no time did Sam ever try up sell the job. I can not recommend this plumber and Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services enough
and much less that the work that Sam did is warrantied for six months. Thank you Sam

Called for service on our office break room sink which was clogged. Service tech showed up in about an hour. He was very nice and informative. He helped us come up with a plan do our own monthly maintenance by using their treatment line. Whenever we have a problem we will definitely call Roto-Rooter again.
