Isaiah and his partner were quick and through. They didn't mind that I kept coming to look and see what they had done. I had major tree roots in my main sewer line. They had cracked the pipe. Isiah and Jose? dug way down (cutting all kinds of giant roots), took out the bad pipe and replaced it.

Eric Adams came out this evening on the same day I couldn't get anyone else out. My water heater was not producing hot water. The unit is old and needs to be replaced, or at least the gas control valve needs replacing. Although he didn't perform a service this evening (my choice), he was patient and willing to explain a few options, showed me where the problem was, and did manage to get my pilot lit again, although there's no telling how long it will stay lit. I chose not to have service this evening because I need to decide what is more cost-effective for me, a new water heater or a new gas control valve. Unfortunately, I have a home warranty company that does not have a contract with Roto-Rooter. They scheduled another company to come out on Tuesday, which was the soonest. RR got to my place within 2-hours after making the call. They were my 3rd call. No one else would come out before Monday and give me a free estimate. It's Friday evening to top it off. My warranty company will likely patch the heater up and not replace it. I have learned that most home warranty companies will do the least amount of work before replacing broken appliances in the home. When I am ready to replace the heater, I may call Roto-Rooter. They may be a little more expensive, but they provide 24-hour service. That makes it necessary to hire many plumbers who must be available at all times of the day or night. Something like that is going to be costly. I am aware of their labor costs. I will factor all of that into my final decision when I purchase a new water heater

pricing is affordable. they cleared the roots in my line and were professional and were able to show me on a usb what the issue was

They are a horrible business. I got charged $79 for emergency water shut off. And to replace the shower cartridge, I got charged $616. I advise you to do your research and to know where your water shut off valve is. Job is $300 or less. Part is $20 and technicians were amateurs. They took advantage of a single lady. I strongly advise you don't do business with these robbers.

UPDATE: see the photo below for the roots that Roto Rooter missed when they did a terrible job snaking my line. I wish they would give me a refund for not doing the job I paid dearly for.
Very disappointed in my recent experience with Roto Rooter. I called them a few months back to snake my sewer line with root blockage. I didn't feel like the technician did a very thorough job, because other companies always use a camera to make sure they cleared everything out after. This technician did not. Sure enough, 3 months later, my sewer is backed up again. I called to schedule a technician to come out and snake it again. The woman on the phone told me it would be free under their warranty. Technicians arrived and wouldn't do any work without charging.
Very disappointing that the job wasn't done right the first time, and also disappointing that they wanted to charge me again to fix their shortcomings. I will be calling a different plumber to come fix what Roto Rooter wouldn't
