Very unprofessional. Called around 9:30 pm today and was told that plumber would be there between 10 and 12 pm. Called back again and was told that it would take some more time, plumber is on his way. Received a call half hour later around 11 saying that no can make it, plumbers are busy with two commercial jobs.

Extremely unprofessional and complete waste of my time. I stayed up for them until 11 just to find myself ditched at the last minute

I shared a similar experience as many people on this Yelp forum.

We have an issue with our bathroom faucet where the hot water is not really coming out. My appointment was at 10 am yesterday and the technician called me around that time. He said he was in the area looking for parking. He then asked if I could send a image of my sink to his phone. He then quoted me at $530 plus parts without even looking at the issue. I then called the local office this morning to ask if this is standard practice or not because this will help in making my decision going forward. If so, I would find another plumber. If not, then I would give them another try.

The operator listened to what I said, put me on hold, then it disconnected after a handful of seconds.

I would also like to share that I do believe the pricing format and etiquette is something the company encourages. I say this because when I asked for rationale behind the pricing it was shared to me the company has a pricing chart for their techs. As for the etiquette it is in my opinion that the techs are encouraged to see as many potential clients as possible to try to maximize revenue.

In summation, I would not recommend this company because it has wasted hours of my time to accommodate them, the customer service is inadequate, and they are expensive.

Fast, professional and courteous service from the phone operators, office and plumber/technician. Erick, the technician was outstanding--knowledgable and helpful. However, I agree with the other reviewers--the prices, which are not quoted on the telephone, are quite high for service provided. Of course, when you need them, it is usually an emergency and you have no choice and your problem is gone.

Service was great, the only issue I have are the prices are way to expensive for the service provided. If I had to use again, I wouldn't I'd call a locale plumber who charges less.

Patrick #7368 from Rotorooter has been doing an excellent plumbing job for the last 20 years dealing with our sewage line problems. We highly recommend him and the company for a through professional job and outstanding workmanship.

We had a plumbing emergency in our basement toilet where our toilet was not flushing properly due to the likeliness of sewage back-up. We needed a plumber asap but we weren't sure if there would be a plumber available to come out on a Sunday afternoon. We contacted Roto-Rooter and the representative over the phone was very helpful and kind. She assured us that a plumber would be coming to the house within the hour. In about 45 minutes a plumber came to the house, assessed the issue and told us upfront what the plan was and the service fee. He was professional, effective, and explained everything clearly. If we have any other plumbing issues down the line or in the near future, we will definitely request to have Anthoneil (0256) to return again.

Roto rooter seems to be a very good plumbing service, i called them and they sent out one of there works to my house and he looked at my water damge i have do to Hurricane Sandy and saw the problem, and said wow this is bad. I told him Femma didn't do nothing the city (Dep) when i call them they keep telling me that there lines are clear b.s. cause if it was this problem wouldn't be happing, well Roto rooter worker Dan advise me of what they can do to fix my problem and gave me the number to call their Restoration Supervisor i didn't even have to they called me and had someone on there way out to do an evaluation so they can start they work, thanks Dan for the advice and thanks to roto rooter for there service.

This is the second time that we rely on them for emergencies in our very old house and we are very satisfied.
This time Anthoneil (0256) arrived just a couple of hours after we called Roto-Rooter and was extremely friendly, fast, and professional.

Fantastic experience with Roto-Rooter. Had an issue installing a new showerhead fixture, which resulted in multiple leaks. Worried about possibly busting a pipe behind the wall, I called Roto-Rooter, and the plumber they sent out was wonderful. He went above & beyond to correct the issue, and was kind enough to provide some tips for other issues in the apartment. Would absolutely call again if needed!
