Had a sluggish toilet and 2 sinks. RR charged $1355 to unclog and was here for 1hr 15min. Tech was ""kind"" enough to give us a $500 discount, which really makes me question their pricing practices. Absolutely ridiculous. Beware of using this company - a plumber would have cost me less than half the price.

I was cheated by Hamilton Roto-Rooter yesterday, 9/12, even though I'm ashamed to admit it. I called about low pressure at my hot water kitchen tap, which involved some kind of blockage. The price I was quoted was $450, which I questioned because it seemed very steep. The guy told me how it was that much because he'd have to be cutting pipes, welding, etc. So ok. He went out to the store, came back with one small valve handle, put it on, and said he was done. Since he'd done practically nothing, I figured he'd adjust the price accordingly. But no. He then proceeded to add another $115 dollars for ""taxes and parts"". I said ""that's a lot of taxes"", and he said it included the parts, too (1 valve handle). But he DID give me the $50 discount coupon, so I guess I got a bargain. And he kept saying that the water pressure was so much better now, right? So I guess I was supposed to be thankful. I am an older woman on my own, and I was afraid of the consequences if I refused to pay. But I will make sure everyone I come into contact with knows about the thieves at Hamilton Roto-Rooter.
