Recommended Customer Reviews
They responded quickly and cleared the main line clog in an hour at midnight. Great service and great technician!
William K.Fast and on time and reliable versus trying to get a local plumber to come and do the work.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They gold plated many areas of the invoice, charging for services that were completely unnecessary. This resulted in thousands of dollars of ""services"" that were beyond the initial estimate. My insurance and a 3rd party estimator believed the charges should have been 1/3rd of the invoice amount. After an initial negotiation, they came down on their pricing slightly ""in an effort to settle"" without acknowledging over charging. Then, never communicated that I had X days to accept their ""offer"" even though they sent an updated invoice. Then, when we pointed back to additional excess charges (e.g., CAT3 services when this was a CAT2 loss, charging 8 hours to move furniture that they didn't even do), Cayce said they were going to revert back to the original invoice amount and threatened to add more charges. Numerous emails went unanswered. Terrible communications. If you want to be treated fairly, this isn't the place. There are plenty of other water mitigation companies. My only recourse is to leave reviews and file complaints. Do yourself a favor and don't let this company take advantage of you in an emergency situation.
We called Roto Rooter in a panic when our basement flooded, and they scammed us. Removal of items from the basement was estimated to cost 5-9k, and they assured us it was almost impossible it would be more than 6, however they charged our insurance more than 10k, and explicitly told us they expected to be negotiated down. When insurance reached out to talk them down, they ignored all of the calls for over a month, because they as scammers and not actual meaningful business people. The person we dealt with was named Dennis, and after ensuring me he would be my point man for everything we needed, he ghosted me and refused to ever speak to me again on the phone. Literally any other business is better than working with these clowns.
