I made an appointment online and the email confirmation was quick and easy. Received prompt service, with an on-time and polite repairman. The service was somewhat expensive for what turned out to be wrong (just a lot of hair in the drain), but it did the job. I would call again.

Scheduled for someone to come out two days prior to them actually coming. They were scheduled to come between 1PM and 5 PM I got a call at three to say they were running late and another call at 4:30 to say they had to find another technician. I ended up telling them that they should just come tomorrow morning called at 8 AM the technician did not show up until 9:30 AM. He showed up with a poor attitude and with the estimate he gave it was over $200 for less than a half hour of work. I ended up telling him he could leave and called the local company that did it for half the price and had a great technician that was a lot of fun to talk to; and even gave me tips to prevent my pipes from getting clogged again. I will never call Roto-Rooter again!!

Im only giving 2 stars because I get the same drain cleaned every year and it always is $99 plus tax. So I call today and ask if its going to be the same price and the woman on the phone said ""yes? Its $99 Monday through Sunday"" so the guy comes over today (told between 2-6) & quotes me $205 plus tax. So I call the company back and they tell me that they never give prices over the phone. I ask to speak with a supervisor which they did. The women on the phone just tells me to print a coupon off online which is $40 off the ! 205 plus tax. It didn't matter how many times I ""tried"" explained the situation the women on the phone and the guy in my living room both kept interrupting me before I could finish and said no no we don't quote......well somebody did and somehow that's my fault. So dissapointed in the customer service.......but at least my drain works now..........

Find out that myh water heater was leaking so I called Roto-Rooter. Service guy named Phil came out and told me my worst fears, my water heater was shot. A water heater that came with the house when it was built in 1998 so I think from living at my house since 2009 I got the mileage out of it!!! Phil gave me an estimate on a new water heater and it was installed the very same evening. Took about an hour and it's working as it should be brand spanking new!!

Customer service at Roto-Rooter was very helpful and polite. Phil my service technician was very helpful and did an excellent job.

I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone! Thank you so much.

Ironic that I'm leaving 5-stars for a plumbing review...after all, when I have to call the plumber I'm typically not in the best of moods because it means there's an issue and it's going to cost.

We've had other plumbing companies out to our house for various reasons, but for the past five years we've been using the folks at Roto-Rooter. Always prompt, always polite, and always manages to fix the problem without calling five other technicians and leaving with a 4-digit bill for what seems a simple job.

So this morning while doing the laundry (on a Husker Saturday, mind you), we did not hesitate to call our go-to plumbing company when our basement drain decided to quit draining. We super-appreciate that Rene (#4410) got here at the top of the given time span (between 1-5 today) so we could take care of business before it was game time.

Found the problem. Educated my husband. Cleaned up before leaving. I also appreciate how he pointed us to a coupon (since Roto-Rooter does not have a frequent customer program for us - LOL).

It's now game time and our drain has NEVER drained this well (seriously).

It is nice to have a company that is responsive and communicates well. Had a plugged drain on a Saturday afternoon, called the RR number and got a pleasant service agent that scheduled me for service within 2 hours. Within the 2 hours another agent (dispatch) called twice, once to let me know they were running a little behind and the other time to let me know Jeff was on his way. Within 30 minutes Jeff was at my door, and it still was within the 2 hour window I was told. Jeff was very knowledgeable, gave me an estimate and cleaned out the drain. He went the extra mile to not only remove the clog, but took the snake all the way to the main line. Very appreciative of Jeff's and RR's service. Will call again if I need a plumber!
