Great service from beginning to end.

We had Lester as our service technician. He arrived on time was friendly, cordial and patient. He explain everything that he was doing on detailed and the reason for each step.

They did a super comprehensive check inside, outside and underneath the house trying to find a low flowing leak. He used visual inspection as well as a sound machine. Spend over 3 hours testing everything.

While the price is high compared to a regular plumber. I fully trust their results and hope that our problem can be resolved on the spot.
In addition we will get a written report that can be used to try to advocate the water company if necessary.

Yesterday, I requested for a plumber to come out and diagnose the low HOT water pressure issue I've been experiencing.
I had already troubleshoot the unit, by flushing my hot water heater, and noticing that there was sediment and corrosion in the tank. I had relayed this information to the technician (Chad Heustis ) when he arrived. You can tell the issue is from the hot water side because when you open up the pressure valve, it was operating properly.

He looked at the hot water tank, barely touched anything. He then went inside turned on my sink and was very quick to tell me, that the issue is my galvanized piping and the whole unit would need to be replaced, for 4500k.

I knew automatically this guy had no idea what he was doing, when he said that to me because the hot water heaters and waterlines are ran off of copper.
The galvanized pipe that he was chasing was my gas line.

Do not use these guys they do not know what they're doing. The website says free estimate/No charge call but they'll try to charge you $88 if you don't mention the online coupon.

These guys suck! A complete waste of time and I think they run a fraudulent business. Three different guys came out on three different occasions and none fixed the problem. I had a leak under the slab. Guy number one did a leak detection and said it wasn't under the slab. He said I had a leaking toilet. He quoted me a price of $350. Then he ran my card for $1200. I was at work. My 22 year old daughter was at the house trying to handle this over the phone. Two weeks later, The second guy comes out and says there is a leak under the slab. He said he could repair the leak for $3000. He was supposed to come back the next day. No call! No show! A week after that, a third guy comes to the house and says he can repair the leak for $8000. Once again I'm at work trying to handle this over the phone with my daughter. I decided to go with Earls Plumbing. They repaired the leak in a few hours for $2200. They sent out American Leak Detection. Earls was out a few days later like they said they would be. Job well done. Please stay away from roto router. Incompetent! Arrogant! Criminals. Stay local and call a family owned business like Earls Plumbing.

I cannot tell you how delightful it was working with Prakesh on my house in New Orleans. I was stuck in New York and I had only Prakash to help me with plumbing emergency-he had to wait for my tenant to get home and he raced to Home Depot or somewhere to get parts...Prakesh went above and beyond and with a language barrier to boot. He is a consummate professional...and a joy to work with explaining everything and digging around under the house after dark.He kills himself to get the job done.

spent $800 to tell me a pipe was broke and Not Fixed! I had a horrible experience, the first person came out to to see why my down spout gutter was not draining. Got my first quote, I think around $150. Of course he doesn't know why after 2 hours of using my water to keep seeing it not draining. So we need to call in another person which will cost another ~$600. Ok, let's do that. Rude man came out, I have a broken drain pipe, gave me little information and didn't fix it. And when I asked if they would provide details so I can get someone else to fix it and not have to go thru this again, this man looked at me like I had 3 heads. I expressed my concern of what I payed for, I know my gutter spout wasn't working so $800 cose me for a ""professional"" to say yes and don't know how to fix.

I do not advise using or even calling Roto Rooter. I called them Monday to schelded service re: my plumber suggested having them use a camera to detect plumbing issue. They didn't return my call until Tuesday to Schedule an apt for that Thurs 11-3. They no showed with not phone call, so I called them at 3:45, the service guy told me he was off at 4:00 and I likey didn't need a camera, because he couldn't access the second floor, but I needed 1at floor access anyway then tried to tell me it was $550, assuming I could not afford the service. He was trying to make excuses for them not to coming to my house. When I challenge him, he said he didn't want to talk to me because of my tone And he was going to hang up. Needless to say I called Earl's pluming and they are coming out and charging only $275. I advise calling Eawl's first.

I contacted roto roofer to help fix my hot water heater. Long story short I ended up taking off 4 days of work after roto rooter kept canceling and postponing/no showing the appointments. They showed up to perform the repair finally and still did not have the required chemicals despite the prior 3 appointments saying they needed the chemicals. I ended up having to leave and had them text me when the job was complete. The repairman left, never turned the water back on, and the hot water heater was not fixed and is now in a worse position. I called to file a complaint and request a refund. I was told they take complaints seriously and I would be contacted via email or telephone shortly. No one from roto rooter followed up with me and still haven't refunded me for this horrible experience. I will never use them again.

No thank you, there is nothing to fix, your incompetent workers wasted 6 hours of my life and still never managed to show up. I have no confidence in your employees abilities. The first, and most important part of every job is showing up on time, and your guys couldn't show up AT ALL. Don't forget, your supervisor hung up on me because I was a little angry that I spent 6 hours sitting in a non air conditioned house waiting for a plumber who never showed up. So the supervisor hung up on me because I said a naughty word on my 5th or 6th call when they finally stopped pretending that a technician would be there in an hour (every time up until then I was assured that my technician was one hour from arriving).

So there is nothing you can fix, I will never use Roto Rooter again, and I will tell anyone and everyone who will listen, exactly how lazy and incompetent your workers are.
