Had service on my floor drain on Oct 8, 2018. After 2 attempts at snaking, the technician determined the pipes may have offset underground and told me to apply for St. Peter's sewer lateral program. As a last stitch effort he attempted to snake it one more time and told me he was successful, drain unclogged. I was charged $450. Of course either was elated that it was resolved and I didnt have to pay thousand for PVC replacement pipe through the city of st. Peter's. Behold 2 days later, I go to do laundry and after one load the floor drain back up worse than it had before Roto Rooter ""unclogged"" the drain. I called immediately to have service setup, as they offered a six-month warranty under the original service provided. I was given a 2-hour window from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a technician to arrive. Come 7:30 that night, nobody called me for an update or to tell me they had been running behind. I expressed my frustration, they told me they were busy, and that somebody would be out the next day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m..... well it is currently the next day going on 3 and still no roto rooter...would never recommend this company to anybody. Very disappointing service and awful customer service from dispatch.

I called Roto rooter for an emergency service on Saturday around 1 pm because my faucet in the basement was leaking. I was told that the plumber could not come until the following day in the morning. I find this unacceptable because they are advertising 24 h / 7 days a week that they can come at 4 am, however, I was calling Saturday in the afternoon and they sent a plumber the following day. Wish I could give less than 1 star. I scheduled an appointment for a small repair: slow hot water flow in the kitchen. The appointment window was for 4 hours, about halfway in between I got a call that the plumber was stuck on another job, but would be there shortly. Two hours later, I called the company back and the dispatcher had to locate another plumber for me. Thirty minutes past 4 hour window someone finally showed up; after me calling twice. Then we started talking pricing.... and of course... hundreds of dollars here, then there... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We experienced a root clog in our main pipe on evening. We called Rooter Rooter and they sent a guy out within 2 hours.

Three weeks later we had a soft clog. We called the company and they send out a second guy. The second guy was super professional and very nice. He cleared the pipe at no charge since it was within the 6 month warranty.

Worth the price for the quick convenance and piece of mind.

I had an issue with the sewer line after traditional business hours for most places. They came out within 2 hours and fixed the problem within an hour of arrival. They charged about the same price as any other company in my local area, but a much quicker response time.
