Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I have a similar story to others. Called Roto-Rooter because I got a clog at an odd hour. They came over and eventually gave me a quote of $16,000 to dig and repair a pipe. I called a more local plumber to get a second opinion and told them what Roto-Rooter had said. They said Roto-Rooter was insane and fixed the clog for a good price. This was months ago, and I haven't had a single issue since. Roto-Rooter had predatory practices and you should not use them under any circumstances. It is sad to see that they have done this exact thing to other customers. DO NOT USE ROTO-ROOTER.

Roto-Rooter also had horrible service. Technicians seemed very inexperienced and unprofessional. Do not use this company. Call someone more local.

I had a backed up kitchen sink that I spent a few days trying to unclog. Nothing worked. I called Roto Router and they were there in an hour. It was a nasty clog way down the pipe that took them a bit longer than normal to fix but they got it done. Their employee was very nice too. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is that the price was much more than I thought it would be but shame on me for not asking.

As mentioned in other reviews, these people are crooks. I had a sewer line back up due to roots growing into the line. The technician/plumber came to snake the drain for 440 dollars. He snaked it to unclog it, but didn't mention the line had roots that needed to be cleaned. Then he recommend the camera technician come out to see what was causing the clog. The camera technician, Brandon, stated there was nothing that could be done other than digging up the line to do a spot repair for $9,000.00. I called Bonfe and Ron the Sewer Rat; both places stated a thorough cleaning would solve the issue and there was zero reason to dig. Ron charged 350 bucks to remove all of the roots and they did a great job. These people want your money and will take advantage of your lack of education around sewer lines. They should be closed permanently and put in jail.

I gave this company a one star because they do not do the job properly and they are way overpriced and they are not trained properly. They messed up on our sewer and when they came back they still made us pay for the mistake that they have made, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

They were supposed to call 30 minutes before arrival, but did not call. Then we had to remove our dogs for the technician. Then he wanted to charge us $550 to replace all the parts in our toilet, rather than starting with the flapper. We have a toilet, which keeps running. He wouldn't replace the flapper for less than $550. We can get a whole new toilet and then some for that price! To top it all off, he said he didn't have any of the parts and was going to charge us $69 just for coming to our house. What a racket! Collecting $69 for giving us an overpriced quote, knowing we wouldn't pay $550.
