Called Roto-Rooter this morning at 9am and by 10:30am, a tech was here to fix my kitchen sink. Jack assessed the pipes then determined the problem and reviewed everything with me before he started the job. My sink and pipes are as good as new. Jack also gave me some helpful tips for my bathroom and sewage in the basement. I highly recommend them!

My neighbor and I had kitchen sinks that had severe clogs.
I called Roto Rooter around 8:00a and by 9:00a, Giovann (Tech 2910)
was at my door.
He listened to what the problem was and started immediately to begin work.
He explained what was causing the problem, which was my garbage disposal, and began working to rod out the pipes. He worked quickly and efficiently.
He immediately notified me what the charges would be. It was a bit higher than I would have liked, but I wasn't in a position to start getting other estimates. And this wasn't the technician's fault.
At least, I knew that Roto Rooter would stand behind the work
When he finished, he explained what I should do to avoid this from happening again.

I would definitely call them again for any emergency.

Needed a repair for leaking bathtub faucet, also need to replace a sink faucet and 2 toilet flushers. Plummer came in assessed the situation gave me a reasonable quote.
Fix everything in a timely manner. The service was excellent! Repairs all completed.

The men to come and rod out my sewer were very nice men however the town inspector was outraged at what they charged us $6000.00 he said for a small piece of pipe. I had already signed the contract and they had me over a barrel and I am not recomending them because they take advantage of people.

Dispatch was very nice and contacted me back with an update on the ETA of the service worker. The Service worker has arrived and is polite. The service work is underway now. I was advised there is a 6 month guarantee, but we are hopeful this will do the trick. The price was a little higher than I hoped for, but as long as it works out than it will be worth it.
***update***
The service was not able to be completed due to there being a problem in the line outside of our responsibility. However the worker ended up getting the equipment stuck in our sewer line and cut it from his machine abandoning the equipment in our line. This seems very odd to me and now we have more to worry about.
I contacted customer service management to advised me a rep would be in contact. The rep contacted me in a timely fashion and is making the situation right. While my experience was not great the response times (in person and via the phone) and the fact that it is being made right is why I am still giving 3 stars.

I have a leak in my home and the people they sent were great. However when it came time for them to bill my insurance company their office fell short. Their representative had all the insurance company and claim information . But they did not follow through properly and then threatened me a disabled person with a lien against my property. It was my insurance company that had to contact the plumbing company so they could pay them. And when the plumbing company sent in their bill to the insurance company to get paid they did not include their tax ID #. And the plumbing company is still trying to make it out to be the insurance companies fault. Can you trust a company that will not take responsibility for their own actions I ask you

We had a clogged sink and tried to fix with chemicals and cleaning tool with no luck. Called Roto-Rooter on Finley Road,, Lombard, IL at 9 in the morning and Dan was out by 11:00. Their timing was FANTASTIC!!! Dan was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. Sink was unclogged and work done in an hour. My only hesitation for 5 stars is I felt the price was pretty steep compared to other home services we have had (heating, air, etc). Couldn't beat the service tho.

Tim, our service technician was friendly, fast and he did a good job. They made it out to my house in Prairie Grove, IL pretty quickly after my bathroom flooded from an overflowing toilet. The price was reasonable too.
