TERRIBLE! Called in at 9am, was told someone would be here today. They didn't know the time though. I was ok with that. At 5:00pm I called in just to make sure I was on the schedule. I was told yes I was the next call and they would be here in 30 min to an hour. This is 8 hours of waiting but I was ok with that as well. I waited another 3 hours then called in, just to make sure they were still coming. I took a day off work for this so I wanted to make sure it happened. Now I am told they cant make it today. They had me take a day off work and wait 11 hours to pull a no show. Noone called at any time to reschedule. No communication at all. I strongly suggest calling someone else before getting strung along by these people!

MichaelG458 was so great he educated me on my options talked me through the issue. And most importantly he was kind and courteous which made me have a great experience. When you have to use a company like this there's usually a major issue. But having someone who understands that's it's an unexpected occurrence treat you fairly and provide great service def makes it easier-Z.Bland

DO NOT USE! Total Ripoff! We had a toilet backup and we had to use their restoration service to clean up our finished basement. They told us they also have plumbing services. Being in a dire situation, we used the plumber who came the next day, worked two hours and charged us $1,455! We later contacted three plumbers who said what he did (snake out and remove toilet, and clean three drains), would have been no more than $400! We made complaints about this charge to corporate and the Livonia office only to not have anyone call us back. They claimed they would help out on the plumbing price since they got the entire job from us. Nothing! No one bothered to get back to us or over a month. Finally, some manager (?) named Rick from the Livonia office called and yelled at us about it. Total jerk. Certainly not professional, and unwilling to do anything except give us 10% back - $145.00! We know that they up sell customers and they work on commission. They made a killing off of our insurance company (over $6,881.00), and we paid the plumber $1,455! You would think they would help us out. They do not care about you! As you can see, overcharging the customer is the BIGGEST complaint of Roto Rooter and their shoddy service. Do NOT use them!

Technician was EXCELLENT! Patient with my questions, thorough with the work and quick, quick, quick! Roto-Rooter definitely helped me out of a jam and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who finds their basement drain backing up!

Had a plumbing issue where everything was backed up. I called Roto-Rooter right away and even with their full schedule they were able to fit me in. Before I knew it there was a knock on my door. They are very professional, clean and informative. Alfonzo did a great job of quick fixing the issue while also getting to the source of the problem. What's great about them is that they tell you where the problem is and step by step what they are doing to work through it. While they might be a bit pricey they are very worth the call! Thank you Roto-Rooter and thank you Alfonzo!

Geat company. Great sevice tech 472 Columbus is the best . We may not be the cheapest company but by far the best. Good sevice isn't cheap! And cheap sevice isn't good !

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do not use Roto Rooter! The customer service (or, better yet, the lack thereof), is the worst I have ever experienced of a service provider. I had leaking pipes so I called and scheduled an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I had to leave work early to ensure I was available. The company called during the time window of my appointment and said they could not come because they were too busy doing a different job. I was asked to reschedule to the next day with the assurance that they would show up, which I did. I took the entire day off work so I could be home for the appointment (which was scheduled in the window of 12-4 pm). I waited and waited and as of 4 pm on the day of the appointment, no one showed (and I never even received a courtesy call). I had to call the office to find out why they failed to show. The company representative apologized and said that someone would come that same night (between 5 and 9 pm). Shortly after 7 pm, I received a call saying that they would not be coming. I was asked to reschedule for later that week. What a joke! Not only did I have to leave work early for the first appointment (and they didn't show!), I had to take a day off for the second appointment (just to be ditched AGAIN). Both times I spoke with the company I asked that a supervisor call so I could better understand what happened. I was told (by two different company representatives) that they filed the request and that I would get a call from a supervisor within 24-48 hours. No one called (seems to be a recurring issue). I strongly encourage anyone reading this to use a different company...a company that actually cares about those seeking their assistance (which appears to be every company other than Roto Rooter). If you don't, you will have your appointment cancelled (probably more than once, like me) and likely have water damage because they won't do what they promise. AVOID ROTO ROOTER AT ALL COSTS!

I am giving a 5 star rating for two reason, the lady ( I am so sorry Incant remember her name that answered my phone call) and our technician Columbus. He is the 3rd guy Roto-Rooter sent to our home to fix the same problem. I have to say that poor Columbus came over and my frustrations were starting to get the best of me considering what I have been thru. He understood them and assured me he would get this problem fixed and would take as much time as needed to do so. He was extremely pleasant, personable and had the greatest customer service. And as of right now my problem seemed to go away! I highly recommend asking for him!

I had to have my sump pump jetted clean due to constant overflow. They were unsure of whether it would have to be dug up and replaced or if jetting alone would solve the problem. My appt was scheduled for mon at eleven but they didn't show up til 630 at night only to be told they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the proper equipment. I was a little upset because I took the day off work to have the problem fixed. However they came first thing Tuesday morning at 830 am. The guy they sent was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. They were able to jet the clog without having to replace the whole line. These guys definitely don't give you the run around or try to scam you. He did camera the line and tell me eventually the pipes would need replaced but as of now it's working and they gave me a 6 month warranty. Plumbing can be expensive work and I'm glad they didn't give me the runaround or have to do uneccesary digging.
