The tech showed up as promised, did his job professionally and the drain is restored. It is the business practice I take issue with. They tell you up front the house call will cost $129 refundable if they do the work. After a brief diagnosis, the tech advised me the cost would be $375! The same work done in 7 years ago cost $170. I was shocked by the huge price increase but felt trapped. If I decided to look for a more reasonably priced provider I would have been out $129 and still had a problem. With no certainty about what another service might charge, I swallowed hard and paid the price. I'll shop around the next time.

Got the job done but service has gotten worse. Just had our main line done late last year. Already completely clogged. Called and the price has gone up over $100. Usually we need to hire every few years. 6 months is not acceptable.

These people were extremely rude to me. The operator interrupted me every time I spoke. I was scheduled for 3:40 to 5:40 pm. They said when they called later, (when I was busy and couldn't answer) I was bumped I texted later and said come. I called twice and was put on hold for over 10 minutes each time. When I called at 5:30 pm to find out when I was treated rudely by the operator and later cancelled me when I complained. Needless to say when I set up the appointment no one told me I had only 15 minutes to respond. This is their policy I wasn't told and they dropped me.

Not happy. I have a bad smell coming from several toilets and told them this when the service appointment was made. A guy comes out promptly, but said he was immune to gaseous smells. ???
5 minutes later, he was done and charged me $50. It took him longer to fill out the paper work than it did to look at the toilets.

I had some standing water in my bathtub and tried to fix it myself by plugging up the overflow pipe and plunging it. Unfortunately the sock I used to plug the pipe got sucked in. Realizing I just made the problem 10x worse I called Roto Rooter.
The scheduler was very nice and dispatched someone right away. He showed up within half an hour, was very friendly and courteous and although he was having some issues getting the dock through he completed the job and never seemed upset or frustrated. Would use again.

Roto rooter came to my home a month ago and was one of the best experiences I have had with a plumbing company. They were very proficient and arrived shortly after being called. The technician was knowledgeable and very polite. The price was great for the professional work that was done. Will be going back to them if I ever need more work done. Thank you roto rooter for making my issue a priority and fixing the problem quickly and efficiently.
