the worst service you can ever use, contacted roto rooter for a service they charged me without even doing the full job, tech came out and had to keep going back to his office to get equipment that he didn't even use. didn't even finish the job, also tried contacting there corporate and there a horrible service too, next step is gonna be going to the news. and too boot it shouldve all been under warranty. do not use roto rooter, THEY SUCK.......

Worst service ever! Over priced! Racist!
I had them come out to check an issue. They practically force me into service, charged $320 just for trying to fix the problem. (NO THEY DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM) Once, Blake, the plumber seen I didn't have cash to pay him (the money was on my card) he started tripping and saying ""You black mfs trying to play me"" like I wasn't getting my card to pay him! It was very uncalled for! I felt very disrespected! I have a recording of his disrespect and everything. Very racist company!

Never use this company. They're here to scam you. I had a leak in the faucet that was attached to the wall. They told my tenants while I was out of town that they needed to replace the faucet and the pipe in the wall. I came back and assessed it and got it fixed for $60 parts and $80 for labor.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I own multiple rentals and this company does this crap all the time. Somebody gotta put them out of business.

Horrible , sewage pump installed incorrectly causing the pump to run continuously-I paid a ton and what I got was a damaged pump . It took many phone calls to talk too anybody and when I did the person was dismissive and unconcerned - that's what I got for choosing roto rooter

I would give zero stars they got mad when I refused to pay 1200 to sanitize my laundry room floor so the plumber that arrived before the cleaning crew decided he no longer wanted to find the leak in my home very unprofessional and rude once he decided he didn't want to take on the job

Never use this business.

Long story short;
We had a garbage disposal leak that ruined our bottom cabinet and laminate floor in December. Roto-Rooter came out, took up the floor, took out the damaged cabinet and all other bottom cabinets to properly dry up the moisture. Instead of storing the undamaged cabinets like they were supposed to, they left them in our driveway for 4 days to be ruined by rain. After months of trying to get AAA to now pay for the remaining bottom cabinets they originally did not authorize to be replaced and then having to buy our own top cabinets to match we finally have a kitchen 6 months later. After offering to pay Roto Rooter the remaining balance after subtracting the cost from THEM ruining the remaining bottom cabinets, the out of pocket top cabinets and contributing to 6 months of us having no kitchen (eating out virtually all the time, washing dishes in a bathtub etc.) they refused and issued a court summon for their full balance. Also they charged us for an emergency visit with no mention of it prior when we called during business hours and they came out the next day. They also left plenty of rusty nails exposed on our subfloor for us and our animals to step on for a couple months. This is a trash company.

SCAM!!! Paid $194.41 to have them come out and fix a slow draining toilet. First plumber came out and only put an auger in, then said it would take $400 to remove the toilet if needed. Said the drain was fixed and left. 5 days later, same problem happened, and I had to call them back. A different plumber came out and did the exact same thing. Of course, 2 days later, the toilet backed up again. Instead of paying RotorRooter AGAIN (to fix a problem they never fixed), I called a local plumber and he was able to get the drain unclogged immediately!! TOTAL SCAM!! They do whatever they can to get you to take the toilet off... DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

If i could leave 0 stars i would. We had a pipe break over night and others freeze. We called at 11pm last night (1/4) and we were told to call back at 8 today (1/5). The guy from last night told us we would be put first in line, but this was not the case when we called today. We were put last on the list. After waiting for over 3 hours with no contact, they called me back, stating the earliest they would be able to get here would be monday (1/8). This is unacceptable. I have frozen and broken pipes, no water. I can not cook, clean or shower. This is terrible customer service and this company should be ashamed

Our technician, Columbus, came to our house on 12/6 to repair a re-occurring back-up in our main sewer line. He was so good at explaining to us what was going on under our house, even with pictures, so that we fully understood what the problem was. He answered all of our questions and made a solid recommendation on how to fix the problem from happening again. Since we are in the process of finishing our basement, and days away from installing the floors, we were naturally very concerned with this happening again. With a camera, Columbus showed me the inside of our pipes all the way out to the city lines, so we had comfort knowing the problem had been resolved, not just temporarily. Aside from knowledgeable, Columbus was such a kind and personable man, who really perked us up after a very overwhelming day.
