Avoid this company or you will be overpaying for work not needed. They said $10,000 plus but we got it fixed by another plumbing company for around $700 and the work was not needed.

I gave them a $2000.00 deposit for services that were never rendered. Roto-Rooter did not pull up the damaged flooring, nor did they install new flooring. All they did was put a fan and a dehumidifier in the room where the water damage occurred.

I texted the field supervisor (Charles Young) for Roto-Rooter and asked him to meet with my insurance adjuster when he came to inspect the damage. He did not respond to my texts.

I was informed by the insurance adjuster that the Roto-Rooter employees did the drying work incorrectly. The adjuster said they should have pulled up the flooring before using a fan and dehumidifier. He informed me that what they did had no effect.

So not only did they not complete the job, but they were also ineffectual in starting it and they cost me several days of electricity by running the fan and dehumidifier.

I am very dissapointed and dissatisfied in the work. I had a sewage backup in Dec 2021 and had this company replaced piping that had a belly in it. It is now 2 years later I have another backup which isn't a problem until I get the back up cleared and had a camera go in just to be told that the issue is in the exact spot that rotor rooter ""fixed"". The only spot that has the new piping is the only space still holding water because the job was not done correctly THE FIRST TIME. Apparently the piping was never pitched correctly. Now I have to pay for the job to be done all over again since they only give a 1 year warranty which is total crap if the job wasn't ever even done correctly!! I have called to file a complaint and spoke to a supervisor who basically reiterated that they have a 1 year warranty and the piping ""held up for this long"". 2 years!! 2 years is a long time for new piping to hold up!? What kind crap is that?? Why would anyone choose a company that can not do the work correctly THE FIRST TIME and in the long run cost you DOUBLE the amount. Obviously they did not send professionals to properly complete the work. I will NEVER use them again unless they come out and fix their mistake!!! That is having integrity in your work and standing by that. I have reports to show everything. You have been warned!!!!

I am very unhappy with the service I've received. I have had to have a technician come out 2 times and the issue is still not fixed. The issue is when upstairs neighbors use their water and my sink regurgitates whatever they are putting down the drain. Sink overflowed all over my floor and then a pipe burst under my sink. The first time the guy appeared to clear the pipe, left a huge mess and chipped paint off my wall with his equipment and put all this sloppy white cement stuff on my pipe and it dripped on the cabinet. My sink kept backing up after he left, called back a few days later and this guy was a supervisor yet he could not answer simple questions from my condo's HOA representative. He claimed that it was a main line issue yet couldn't answer how far back my pipes were serviced. Then changed wording to say it was the stacks. The hoa lady said it can't be the main line because she already had them gutted twice this year. It's extremely frustrating because since he couldn't answer her questions now they are sending their own technician to look at the problem and now I have not only been charged by this company when problem wasn't completely resolved, I will be charged a second huge bill, all because this man could not answer coherently what work was done in my unit. The technicians that came to me were not knowledgeable, efficient or experts in the field of plumbing.

This company is rip-off. I called them to come over and unclog my garbage disposal. The technician unclogged it but then suggested I replace the garbage disposal because the blades of my garbage disposal were getting worn out. I would have to pay $355 for unclogging the garbage disposal and if I had them replace it with a new one they would charge $655 (but he would take $75 off with a coupon). So I paid them $580 to put in a new garbage disposal. I am sure this was way too much for a new garbage disposal but to make matters worse, he used some of the parts to the old garbage disposal. He did not replace the sink flange, the gasket, the backup flange, the mounting ring and maybe the snap ring. These are important elements of the garbage disposal. They should have been replaced because they come with the new garbage disposal. Too late, I checked with the Better Business Bureau website and found out this business has had 495 complaints in the last three years and 177 so far this year, 2020.

The process of connecting our house to the county sewer line was could have turned into a nightmare, but the hindrances and regulations
put up by WSSC were professionally and superbly handled by Roto Rooter. From beginning to end, Jay Glazer took over the project and skillfully guided the process along until Roto Rooter was ready to take over where WSSC ended theirs.Then, Don Smith and his assistant Andrew took over and finished the job.
From start to finish, Roto Rooter was in charge and kept me informed of their progress every step of the way. Their price was also very competitive. I would definitely use them again and can recommend their work. If possible, try to use this office and get the folks that helped us to much.

Buyer beware of this company! I had a clogged kitchen sink that was that required a snake job to unclog it. Roto-Rooter sent a plumber by who assessed the issue and asked for a flat rate of 620$ ! I told him that is way to much and he immediately said he could give a discount and the price instantly changed to 350$. I said no and he left. He then came back 5 minutes later saying he could do the job for 250$. I was just put off at this point and went with much cheaper options. Buyer beware of the ever changing price!
