I was given a 4hr window for my appt, which was 5pm - 9pm. I get a call at 8:56pm advising me the plumber was still on a job and he could be at my residence in another 1-2 hrs. I cancelled it. I then received a $75 coupon, so decided to call them again. The guy came out, unprofessional, and advised it would be $300 to snake my tub. What a rip off, in addition to horrible service. Go local people!!!

Roto Rooter is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule with, unless you are able to sit at home and wait for hours. I had 4 appointments with them this week, missed 8 hours of work. They did not make a single appointment and seemed confused as to why I needed them to show up in the scheduled window of time. In addition to being unreliable with time, they were unable to clear my drain. However, the technicians who came out were very friendly.

I'm surprised this company has 4 stars. I called a plumber out to receive an estimate. They changed the time of the appointment and didn't notify me that the plumber was on the way to the house. It's been over a week and I still haven't received an estimate. If your looking for for Work to be done in a timely manner I wouldn't suggest this compNy. It's been over a week and I can't even hire a plumber from them because they won't even tell me how much it's going to cost for their services. I'm very disappointed and annoyed. What a waste of time.

The technician, Nick, was fantastic: knowledgeable and upbeat. He was able to fix the problem right away. I was a mess because I had just discovered that the tub in the guest room wasn't draining properly and a guest was arriving right away. I had contacted several other companies for the project and 3 were not able to accommodate my needs; the others didn't even bother to call back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the dispatching part of the service; they told me twice that the serviceman would arrive in 45 minutes, and 3 hours later I was still waiting. I just didn't want to be snowballed; I only needed to know the actual info. And Nick was able to explain why I was given the misleading information. All in all, a positive experience. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again.

""The first time we called Roto-Rooter we were absolutely desperate!! It was Thanksgiving, 2 hours before 21 guest arrive and we get a major clog in the household drainage system! Being skeptical of national brands, I called every local drain company in the book. No one would come out, so I called Roto-Rooter. They were so nice and they had someone out within the hour! They trulely saved the day and the technician was incredibly nice and very professional. And, they didn't up charge for the holiday call! This is my second service call with them and the service was, once again, outstanding!! Thank you Roto-Rooter!!

Our technician was extremely helpful and worked hard to eliminate a difficult pipeline blockage. If my review was based on the technician's service alone, I would have given 5 stars. I deducted one star due to a scheduling miscommunication. But, overall, we were satisfied with the service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called at 5:00 pm, was told a technician would be in touch within two hours. At 6:00 pm, someone called to let me know I'm the next one in the queue and they'd be there within the hour. 7:30 pm, I call back - someone says they'll be there within the hour; I told her they said that an hour ago. She calls the dispatcher. He ""ran into an issue."" He won't be there until closer to 10:30 pm. THEN 12:30 AM ROLLS AROUND. Still no service, no updates. I call back. He's ""still on that job."" There's no fucking way he's been on the same job for 6 and 1/2 hours. It's bullshit. She says he's on his way now (12:52 AM). We'll see... TL;DR, fuck Roto-rooter. They just lie to you and make you wait around for nothing. Such a joke.

Nick showed up promptly, was clean, courteous, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He was also able to clearly explain the particular problem we were having with our bathroom drainage and what sort of maintenance we could engage in to prevent this problem recurring. Had had a problem with an earlier technician, but Nick restored our faith. Thanks!

Harry repaired a minor leak with the toilet seal, a rocking problem and a supply valve. He did a great job, pleasant and very professional to deal with.

Guess what... We got Nick to come back out and clear the main drain line. and as I stated before he did a great job once again. This time they sent another gentleman with him to shadow him and learn from him. Nick is good at what he does, and I'm not one to give out compliments easy unless you do a good job.
