The technician was great, but the initial scheduling was really awful. I had a sump pump replaced and he did a great job with the work on the second appointment.

When I worked with the central rotorooter scheduling for my first appointment, I was given a 12-3 window for arrival. However, the technician didn't arrive until 6pm. Rotorooter called me a couple times indicating delays, which I appreciated, but they could never tell me how long the delay would be, which was pretty frustrating. By the time he arrived I was not available for him to complete the work, so I had to ask him to return. I worked with him directly to reschedule and the second time he was right on time.

Water Restoration came and brought with them all the equipment needed to get the job started on drying up my basement.They cleaned and sanitized the floor and had an air purifier turned on upstairs to get the odors out.They had air blowers and dehumidifiers set up in the basement.They did a good job and were very professional and caring.

The technician was on time, pleasant and courteous. He was careful not to dirty my floors on the way in and out of my house.
I just think that $300 for 30 minutes of work is way too steep. All he did was sit on the floor and feed the cord into my basement drain. There were no problems and he did not have to do any other work. My handyman recommended this company and I took his word. I should have shopped around since this was not an emergency. I will next time.

I was able to get service same day for a sewer drain that backed up in my basement. The tech guy was very professional, friendly and quick. He was able to complete the job in about an hour. The only complaint that I have is that when I called for service, they refused to give me any kind of idea about the cost. I realize that they run into all kinds of situations and every job is different, but when the tech showed up he told me is was a $311 flat rate barring any complications. There is no reason why I couldn't have been given the information before-hand. Several people at work told me that a plumber would be $100-$200 so I was expecting that. The cost is not a deal breaker, but I don't like how they handled it. The $311 rate includes a ""free"" camera scope of the sewer line, but they have to call me back to schedule that...which means I have to move my washer around again since the cut-out is behind it. It appears that they are adding this ""free"" camera scope to justify the $311 price. The tech told me that most people turn that service down so it looks like they are charging for this ""free"" service which most people don't use. A clever way to make easy money. I could have done without the camera since the tech didn't even find anything, no roots, no obstruction, nothing...said it was probably just a soft clog. But, I'm going to have the camera service done anyway. Overall I am happy with the service and would use them again, but they need to be more up front with their pricing structure.

Roto Rooter came to my house on a Saturday to fix a clogged sink drain. It was so easy to set up online. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained what he was going to do. He fixed the clog and cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with the work.

Our Service Technician,Zach Wilkins (0181) arrived in a timely manner. He was courteous, knowledgeable and explained the service that needed to be done. He left the area he worked in as clean as it was before he arrived.

I used Roto-Rooter to try an clean out a blocked downspout drain at my home. The service tech was good and the equipment was serious. The only problem is he was unable to clear the blockage. The tech tried several clearing heads and a couple of different snakes but after struggling for an hour threw in the towel.

Roto-Rooter was readily available when others weren't, 24/1. Came and cleared our main drain within 2 hours of our call. Unfortunately same problem recurred 2 days later. Zach 0181 was sent this time around. He was friendly, professional and did a more thorough job. He cleared the drain but ran the line to the full 100 feet to be certain all was cleared. He also will set us up for a free diagnostic camera inspection. Zach's service made having to clean the flooded area again much more palatable. They guaranteed their work so the second visit was free.

We called Roto Rooter after my ""maintenance guy"" BF had made several attempts to remedy a shower leakage problem. When it leaked into the adjoining storage space and ruined some of his photos, it was time. Zach (0181) was persistent and open to the BF's requests, even after investigation of the area behind the water controls revealed that the piping had been buried under layers of mortar. He drove his van back and forth to Home Depot to find parts he needed several times, but in the end couldn't resolve our issue. What I really appreciated was that then he called in Bill (722) to review his work and approaches. Bill was able to resolve the problem, which seemed to be related to the age of our home (1950's era), and may have involved techniques that pre-date Zach's training. The depth of experience in the company, plus the humility and persistence of the younger employees will keep us returning for help when we need it.
