They could not clear my sink drain and charged me $175 any way. He said he would send some one to give estimate to reroute the drain because it collapsed. I had to call back after a week and they sent a guy that said the last kid didn't know what he was doing and he could get through for $256. he knew so I said try it. He just repeated what the first guy said instead of just doing the estimate and charged me anyway. He then did the estimate and it was for $3800 not counting landscaping and the fence repair. This is not very professional and I would not reccomend roto router. And warn all my and my wifes friends to warn them. That would be in the thousands or more. Poor rating.

We had a major plumbing issue(sewer all over floor and in shower) after hours. Tried to call our Home warranty people and they(as always) gave us the run around. Called local plumbers but no one called back. Called Roto Rooter and they were very responsive. Our plumber was Tim H in Topeka. He's been with company for 6 years. HE WAS AWESOME!! Came in and did amazing and quick work. Had the best attitude and even joked with us about the situation. He turned a really bad evening into a much better one for us. Though it was much more expensive to go this route without our home warranty Tim made it worth the expense. I would recommend Roto Rooter to everyone but I think it is really Tim I'd recommend.

I would never ever use Roto-Rooter ever again! We called and asked for a price quote about a sewer inspection with camera and they said it was free! I didnt believe it because nothing is for free! they arrived and were on the property less than 1 hour before they started i asked them how much it would be and they said they charged $20-$30 an hour for what i was asking! I asked a second time and they said the same thing, they hand me the bill and its $ 434.18!!!! I have done a sewer inspection before and price has always been less than $150! runnnnnnnn away from this company!!!!!!

Had another local plumbing company out a week or so before calling Roto-Rooter. They did not do anything to fix my issues. A week later I had water coming up from the main. Called on a Saturday, they were a little later than promised but called to let me know they were running a little late. I was told there was no additional charge for a weekend call.
Guy came out, I gave him some background information, and he seemed to know what to look for. The guy was super nice. Took a look. Told me the price for everything up front. Snaked the main drain and ran a camera through the pipe. We had a nice conversation while he was working.
Everything came out good. He cleaned up, I paid, and he left.
All is working good. I was very happy with this service. They will become my new contact for sewer/plumbing work.
