I called to schedule an appt to have a drain in garage snaked because it was not draining as it should. I was not requesting emergency services and I had asked for pricing when I called and person said tech would call once on site. when he called he told me what he'd do...snake the drain...for $489.00! excuse me? It was a 25-50' run from the drain to the street. We had it snaked a few years back and it was not that much at all. He told me he could offer me a $20 discount. I laughed and told him no thanks and that he could leave. The guy was a tech, not journeyman or master plumber. It takes no more than 30 minutes to snake a drain. I'm in the construction business and want to let people know that they should never use this company. i feel bad for anyone that has ever paid for their services because you have been ripped off. Please look I to other reputable companies like Bob Hamilton and stay away from Roto Rooter!

Drastically overcharged for water heater replacement! I admit I was suckered into paying $6,000 bc I thought the price was de rigueur--NOT, as I later learned from my regular plumber. Stay away from this KC company, especially if you are a little old lady on a pension!
