A washer in my shower cartridge broke and as a result the shower wouldn't turn off. Took the guy all of 25 minutes to replace and I get hit up for $300 bill. 200 for labor, 100 for parts. Apparently they have a $200 flat rate for labor, which is absurd. Equally ridiculous is the $100 I paid for a rubber washer. Roto-rooter will never get my business again.

Update:
After expressing my concerns above, was discounted $40. Better than nothing but still feel like I was rolled. I'm all for paying plumbers. It's a dirty job and takes a high degree of skill. $100/hr would be reasonable; $200 for 25 minutes of labor is unreasonable.

Called for a drain clogged in our basement furnace room. They came 3 days later after continuously telling us they would be there in a few hours. When they came they unclogged the drain promptly, and referred us to their water restoration service.
This was a terrible experience where our home obviously suffered more damage because of the delay.
It's really hard to find a plumber in an emergency, especially on the weekend, we could have found a different one if they would have told us it would be 3 days.
When they came and fixed the clogged drain, they didn't bother to look at the sump pump. I am calling another company to check that, and will happily pay them to service the drain yearly.

Pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to take off work or pay a holiday fee for coming on a holiday to do the work. Fast and efficient.

Called for a blocked drain and a cracked pipe under the tub. Service was quick as usual. The guy they sent out caused an electrical problem in the house when he plugged in his snake machine, few different stories of what happened there but the company kindly recommended we get a electrician out for safety sake which is appreciated. The drain cleaning that took 45 minutes from the time the drain 'specialist' came out to when he left including time for discussions with his boss about the electric problem and an explanation that a plumber would have to be called to solve the issue of the cracked pipe cost $234. The problem isn't even solved. I have done business with this company several times over the last 10 years. Lots of choices in town, I'll call someone else next time (or really this time since problem wasn't solved). Feel ripped off. 1 star for the manager caring about the electrical problem even knowing he was losing a customer.

Good service, and nice guys...however the prices could use some work. I understand that the plumbing industry is notorious for uncharges, but over 200 bucks for a clogged bathtub!?!? done in like 30 minutes?!?! little bit insane. But I'm glad I can shower again haha, would recommend AFTER you try everything yourself first

Service was great and the work was well done. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the worker came an hour after our time window. Was supposed to show up between 9 to 1 but came at 2:00

Bart was great. was on time and very professional. Before calling I rented a snake and didn't think I fixed it, but I did clear the main line but the floor drain still backed up. Bart could have charged full price for drain cleaning but since he believed I had already fixed the problem he only charged me a service call fee. Now that is impressive even thou I am out little money I didn't need to spend. He was nice enough to reduce the charges.

We were not impressed with this company. No written quote like they advertise, dispatcher lied saying he called 4 times when he only called once. However, the service technician was really good.

I am impressed at the ease of scheduling provided via the Roto-Rooter Website. The service provider was prompt and efficient getting my garbage disposal fixed and the leaking stopped efficiently. I will definitely ""remember the name, Roto-Rooter, and watch my troubles go down the drain!"" Catchy jingle from back in the day.
