I called Roto-Rooter to unclog the drain to my washing machine. I had tried to clear it myself, but could not get the drain snake down far enough to clear the clog. It was not an emergency, but the scheduler said she could have someone at my house within 20 minutes. The technician came within 20 minutes and was very courteous and friendly. He wore shoe covers over his shoes and brought his own pad to put over the washing machine so it would not be scratched by the router he used. He was able to clear the drain and advised me to put an enzyme cleaner down the drain once a month to prevent sludge buildup. He left a bottle of it with me and gave me directions for it's use. He said that if it clogged again in 90 days they would clear the drain at no charge. Although Roto-Rooter seems expensive, the work appears to be very good. The drain is working properly now.
Leslie S.Ed was extremely courteous and friendly. I appreciated that they called when they were on their way. Although the job ended up being much more complicated than originally thought, Ed was courteous and made sure to explain everything to me so that I was on the same page.
Lex B.Very good company, they will Roto-Root you real deep like and get all of them roots N Poo knocked right out of drain pipe. They will get out the big rotating snake pipe driller and give them roots n poo hell. Probably the best poo chasers in the business oh and root too! You need your drain pipe clear of roots n poo call these guys. Reasonable too. These guys been in the business for years and years for good reason. They are pros at getting your drain pipe free flowing. Give them trees hell I say, if the root wants in Roto-Rooter wants them out. Give em a call next time you get all plugged up in a deep kind of way beyond Liquid plumber and a plunger.
I own an apartment above my business and the tenant was experiencing slow flush and called Roto-Rooter. When the plumber came out I explained to him that I didn't want him to move the blockage down line and not all the way to the city sewer line. My fear was he was going to leave problems with my line since they both connect. He assured me that if there were problems he would be back to take care of it at no cost. There was some questions as to whether his device was long enough to reach all the way to the city. He also came ill prepared without a camera. Well, 3 weeks later our line was having issues. We called Roto Rooter and explained things. I was out of town at the time but they came and cleared the line again and left me a $200+ bill., that's after the original $500 plus bill the first time. Now is where the story gets worse. A few weeks after the second visit we discover that a vacant office next to us that also shares the same sewer line had massive amount of sewage all over the floor. They came back to clean that up and billed me for $1600+. Of course they say that nothing was there fault. I have been in this building for 28 years and prior to this cleaned my line twice. They came in and I spent $2300 to unclog a toilet!!! I would absolutely use someone else.
DeLaney B.Ed was early and even wore little booties to make sure not to drag in any dirt into our house. He did a great job in a timely manner. He was very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend him and the company!
This is my third time this year with the same problem. After the problem came back the first, within the warranty time frame, I still had to pay a trip charge for them to come back. This third time, the snaked the perimeter and it did not help. They said the could get it with the jet. That would cost more. I agreed. They could not get the line in and all that happen was it flooded my basement more. They said my line was compromised and would need to be dug up. They are going to get me a proposal. The technicians are very nice and easy to work with. I just don't understand having to full the full price and not only is the problem not fixed yet, but more will need to be done. I am now just praying my insurance covers some of this.
Citizens Band F.Fast and friendly. Snaked the drain, and provided advice to avoid problems in the future.
Scott B.I would have gave this review 4 or 5 stars if they weren't so expensive. I paid $241 to have one guy come out and tie in PEX tubing that I ran to the copper hot and cold lines in my basement. I had all the PEX tubing setup to be connected to the hot and cold lines. All the plumber had to do was cut out a section of copper pipe on the hot and cold lines, sweat in a T fitting, then crimp on my PEX tubes, which were right there ready to connect. I even had the water main shut off and the plumbing depressurized.
A few weeks ago I paid a carpet company $150 to have two guys come out and finish a carpet to tile transition for me. They did more work then the plumber did and charged half of what the plumber charged me.
I am happy with the quality of the plumber's work, his professionalism, and the professionalism of the person that took my call, but I will be shopping around for a cheaper plumber the next time I need one.
The service was horrible, the manager John was rude and unapproachable. They have continually let us down on services after repeatedly saying they would fix things. Finally I had to pay for another plumber. Also, they are very overpriced and when their were problems with our initial service, John communicated that he would have their product used in our lines in the fall for free because of it. Only to have him call in the fall and make sure we knew that he wasn't going to give any of his product away for free and that ""was not happening"". Their is some real concern when you have someone like this helping run operations, extremely disappointed in their service and follow through. We not only were told to excavate our whole front yard (which didn't need done) $2-3,000, he then proceeded to make our family feel bad for questioning their services after we had another plumber come and run a snake through our entire line after he had told us that it was so clogged that there was nothing we could do but dig it up.
Vincent A.Was told it was going to be $400 for my service (4 hours of work at $100/hr.) they fixed my problem in 20 minutes or less. This company is a total rip off. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. Go to your local plumber instead...
