Incredible service for an emergency leak over the weekend. Trever is a stand-up guy and gave us a very honest assessment of our situation. He fixed our leak and walked us through the repair every step of the way. I cannot thank Trever enough, you can tell how much pride he takes in his service. We appreciate you Trever!

unprofessional technician, terribl customer service. They scheduled us for 8 am to 10 am, but did not arrive until 1 pm. they do not deserve a single star.

Our kitchen sink backed up and we were unable to fix it ourselves. A tech from Roto-rooter came out and ""attempted"" to fix the problem. He ended up telling us that ""I give up, I don't know what's going on with it, you should call a different company."" He did not give us any advice or solution for our problem. He was also going to charge us $440 for the appointment. We attempted to contact a manager but have not heard back. We will never use Roto-Rooter again.

One star is too high...

This company is not reliable. I called on Dec 23 and was told a plumber would be over at 12pm the next day. He never showed up and the company never called. Contacted the company the following day and was told a tech would be over at 10am. No show and no call. I made it clear one of my subpumps was out and the basement was taking water.

Unethical and unreliable- don't waste your time with these guys.

Completely agree with previous posters: this company is simply not ethical and management do not care about your experience. Their service and process for replacing my water heater was unprofessional, dangerous, and misinformed. I have taken my complaints to Roto-Rooter both locally and HQ, with no result. Their response went so far as to blame me for undertaking the work they recommended, which was based on the plumber's assertion that there was carbon monoxide leaking out of the brand new water heater they installed. A scary issue! OF COURSE I'm going to move heaven and earth to fix said problem. Their recommendation resulted in my undertaking nearly $1,000 in additional work that was proven to be extraneous by another company and without use of the new hot water for 10 days while I waited to ""fix"" the problem. RR is nonplussed with my complaints about the professionalism of the two plumbers they sent, their product knowledge, and the scary situation they told me I was in.

One revealing thing I learned in this process about RR, and admitted to me by Joseph Nixon in management when I asked point blank if their plumbers carry carbon monoxide testers: the answer is no. Their plumbers do not test for carbon monoxide and do not have the ability to. So BUYER BEWARE, they're installing gas-connected devices and couldn't tell you whether they're correctly connected or not based on carbon monoxide readings. They use their hands to test for air flow, which is what my plumber did. I believed him when he told me it wasn't flowing correctly, and I feel like a fool for doing so.

When handling gas-connected appliances, why a professional company with so much danger and risk related to their work and the home they are working in would not continually test for natural gas/CO levels with an mechanical device that can certify safety is truly inexcusable. I'd highly recommend Williams Heating and Air for your pluming and HVAC needs in Indianapolis--they DO test for CO. Roto-Rooter is simply unsafe and not up to par with product knowledge.

This company is a FRAUD. Drew a picture after checking to see if our shutoff valve was working 20-30 minutes task. Told me $320 was my bill, based on his company policy. I called the company, they told me the tech is in charge of billing!!! What The Fuc?, be AWARE OF ROTO-Rooter! FRAUD COMPANY!!

I called these guys yesterday after a terrible experience with another company. It was like night and day! These guys came out ready to do business. I told them what I needed and they didn't try and sell me on anything they just explained what they were going to do and they did it! They were nice and not rude at all and very professional!

Terrible service and will charge a fortune. Came out for a clogged trap in drain. Wanted to charge me $483.00 without even looking at it. Called another plumber who unclogged trap and charged me nothing! Terrible to take advantage of people like this. Shame on them!

OMG! Do Not call this company!! Did I just not get raped by this company. Had standing water in my laundry room of the LL of my home. Knew it was a back up problem due to the smell. After a brief assessment of my situation, technician looks up a code in his manual for snaking my clean out. $656!!! I agreed because I am disabled, live alone and had a problem I couldn't resolve! Previous review mentions that she was charged $365 for the same thing which is still utterly ridiculous. Then case worker kept pressuring me to do remediation for damage that doesn't even exist! Will be filing with the BBB.
