Tracey M.Very excellent service. Will use them again. This service was for removing old kitchen faucet and replacing with a new faucet. The builder of this townhome in Carmel took a lot of cheap shortcuts. Our service man had to correct those mistakes when installing the new hardware. It looks like it will last a long time. They also guarantee it via a 1 year warranty. I thought that was reasonable.

Tech (#2697) was dispatched within minutes after contacting Roto Rooter around 8 pm at night. Very pleased with the response time. Tech very knowledgeable about everything as our system is a little complex. Was able to fix the leak in the wall quite quickly and was courteous the entire time. Also noted, the required booties came off every time he stepped outside and back on every time he stepped back in. I will definitely be a return client.

3 years ago we had a garbage disposal installed by a plumber who lied to us about being licensed/bonded/insured. It was installed incorrectly and leaked everywhere, and eventually rusted through. Roto Rooter assisted us in replacing the unit and our licensed/bonded/insured technician was helpful in advising what courses of action we can take to report the previous unlicensed plumber. Thanks for a job VERY well done and for helping us navigate through the Plumbing Licensing Authority website to check the status of licenses. Many, many thanks!

It is necessary because as I reported in my first review, although the plumber in this incident was excellent in every regard, I had a problem that developed as the result of not being able to provide the voucher I purchased at the beginning of the year in anticipation of needing to make this repair. All of the other members of the Roto Rooter team who I came in contact with, Todd Cousin (Artie's manager) and Regina (the customer service representative on the telephone were abominable; which I explained in painful detail in my first entry.
Why then am I writing a second entry? Because in the course of doing business, sometimes bad things are going to happen; even the best businesses are going to have some unfortunate events which occur for any number of reasons and the measure of the business is not whether or not these things happen but what management does once they are aware of the situation to resolve the matter. This is subject of this second review.
The original incident occurred late in the afternoon on a Friday. By the time the time things began to spiral out of control it was after business hours. I promise you I was fit to be tied Friday evening and I had prepared myself to have to sit and seethe for the entirety of the weekend until it could be dealt with on Monday morning. To my surprise, bright and early Saturday morning I received a call from the Customer Service Manager apologizing for the problem and promising to handle it as expeditiously as possible. A few hours later, I received a call from the Regional Manager who apologized for the problem offered me a satisfactory settlement of the problem and assurance that the people involved would be re-trained regarding the issues that came up during my service call. I received a third call Saturday afternoon just to confirm that all of my needs had been met and that the situation had been resolved to my satisfaction. Further, they wanted to ensure that I would give them another opportunity to service my needs and I will. As I said, bad things are going to happen sometimes and the question is what you do about it. They went above and beyond during off hours to make sure that my service needs were met and my ancillary issues resolved.
In the end, Roto Rooter hit this one out of the park.
Nice workers, had many obstacles that prevented them from finishing the work within the timeline they originally gave us.

Josh R.Had a busted pipe in the basement that needed fixed. Guy shows up in a timely manner. Looks around at the issue for a few minutes and then asks me what I'm willing to pay????? Are you kidding me?? I said no I need a quote. He sat there for another couple minutes and then rattled off a number without taking any measurements on the pipe needing replaced or anything. The price was over double what I ended up paying from another plumbing company. I will NEVER let Roto-Rooter in my house again. Scam artists taking advantage of people in bad situations.
