I paid them $ 650, they took the toilet out and rod it. And the plumper said the mainline might be the problem. He promised to bring the camera to inspect for the problem inside the line. I call them a few times, and Every time I call them to request for the camera guy to come out.They said someone will get in touch with us. Yesterday the same problem again. I call them to come out and they said they need another $650 for the same problem. They told me for the camera guy to come out we need to pay another $650.

Had to get an urgent item worked on and called Roto Rooter at 10:30 in the morning, when I was promised someone will be coming over within 2 hours. No one turned up, since then called them 5 more times, each time they said someone was coming. Eventually at 6:30 in the evening someone calls to say that no plumber is available to come in. Definitely do not recommend. I wonder if it is because they lack accountability or that they are making enough money to not care about customer service. If I could give 0 stars, that is what I would do.

I m not sure about others review but i m telling what i really experienced with this company.
First of all overpriced but could still go on with that cuz its not that important the work has to be done good, and if you ask me they did the work for me but not the way i was expecting but anyway its done now and iv'e seen no problem yet. and the last point i want to mention is that one less star is because i was expecting more friendly and cool behavior.

The worst service ever! I scheduled work on Monday for Thursday 12-3 (that's the only time my building shut off the water) and I was promised that plumber will be here to finish the work. Nobody showed up by 12:30- I called and dispatcher said that she will call me back with ETA. 1:21pm - I'm calling again only to be informed that nobody can come in the next 3-4 hours. Not only that I will be charged $ 200 by the association because water was shut off but plumber was no show (of course Rotorooters didn't think about covering this), but also nobody called me to tell me that that plumber can't make it on time. Poor customer service, and no professional service provided at all.

I had a bad experience overall with this company. I called Friday night to have my water heater checked as I believed it was leaking. This water heater was previously replaced by roto rooter within the last year so I was taking advantage of their warranty. Once the tech arrived, he confirmed it was not leaking and relit my water heater for me and charged me $259! Absurd as I am under warranty all he did was turn it back on. I complained about this and they are still charging me. Very unprofessional.

If I could give no stars, I would!!! I should have read the other reviews on Yelp before engaging in any type of business with this company. The fact that customers are leaving such detailed reviews with 1 and 2 stars, tells me that these are not isolated encounters and that the reviews correlate with my experience. There's definitely a reason they have 3 stars! To clarify, I never made it to hiring them to do any work because my initial encounter with of all departments, customer service, was so terrible!!! If you have customer service issues with a company before you've even hired them to do the work, that is not a good sign!

Tech did not practice COVID safety precautions

Major Issue(s):
They advertise that they offer free estimates, but this is very misleading.
Tech looked at my exposed leaking pipe in my basement and said he would have to tear out my countertops and cabinets in my kitchen to diagnose the leak in my basement.
Tech called two different other employees (field managers) to get guidance on the repair.
Tech then quoted $1500 to diagnose (see pic) with no details on the estimate explaining what the $1500 was covering.
This quote and his explanation did not make sense to me, so I contacted customer service to request another tech assess the repairs. I was transferred to the ""customer service liaison' who was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. She proceeded to tell me they would not send someone else out and that quote on quote: ""their company is expensive and if I could not afford their prices, then maybe I should hire another plumbing company."" Nowhere in the conversation did I say I could not afford their prices. When I began to tell her that her comments were very unprofessional and assumptive, she abruptly transferred me to someone else's voicemail without notifying me of her intentions.
Upon speaking to her boss she was not very concerned about rectifying any of the issues that I brought to her attention. Her consolation for my inconvenience and the negative experience with her rude and unprofessional subordinate was that she could send someone else out to diagnose the problem for $325??? If the ""free"" quote made sense and was done thoroughly the first time, there would be no need to request to have second quote.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I am very disappointed that the corporate department of this company only cares about $$$, NOT customer relations, customer retention, or best practices. From the looks of the reviews they do not provide very good craftsmanship either.

Very disappointed ,this people's charge you $132 for estimation on the work, we decided to pay for them to come after inspection we said yes go ahead for do the job . We was scheduled Wednesday at 9:30 they show show up 2 hours late arrival time 11:40. Afte starting the job they realize they did not have the right piping for the connection what a joke . $132 inspection and cannot figure how to get the rigth right piping no to professional. They left for go to the stoor store get some material missing. I will not recommend this company to anyone in or around Tulsa, they are not professional at all.

They are useless and Christina in Customer Service is unprofessional, wont let you speak. Had them come out to Jet a sump storm drain line. It was 900$ for 2 hours. They guy spent 1/2 hour filling his tank with my hose. Took about 5 phone calls, kept telling me he had 3 other jobs to still go to that day. He said he cleared the line. I didnt check, I assumed I could TRUST Roto Rooter. It rained thenext day and the line filled again. I called them, simply explaining my situation and that the line that he claimed he cleared was obviuosly not cleared. She told me there was no guarantee. I had to look very hard on the paperwork to find that he had hand written it on there. I said, I just need options now, what can be done? Can they send someone else out. She said yes for another fee, She said she cou;d send someone out with a camera for 500$. I asked for a reasonable dicount or something since the work performed was inadequate. She told me it wasnt her fault that I didnt read the fine print. I said I guess I trusted Roto Rooter to stand behind theyre work, She called me Stupid. I am currently disputing charges with Credit card company and leaving reviews about my experience everywhere I can. Worked was performed in Minooka Il, I guess form the Chicago Corporate office. I was ok with the original price, but the actual service and response was terrible.

Worst company ever. Our contract was written to unclog my sink and do a video inspection to see the problem for $600. Yes they unclog the sink but couldn't do the video inspection because they said it was too many turn. The guy said the video inspection was free so if they cant do it I still have to pay, what the hell.. Call their office, Lady pick up and said the same thing. It was written on the contract to unclog and video inspect, didn't write free video inspect.If i know I don't get a video inspection I wouldn't pay that much. Now i got letter and email saying they gonna send to collection. To this day I still don't have a video inspection, if you don't do your full job how you want me to pay you...If only I have read all this Yelp reviews before calling them , I would have never.
