Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Roto-Rooter caused damage to the mainline pipe causing water leaking. The supervisor would not look at the damage and would not fix it as they do have plumbers on staff. Instead he tried to sell other services. They said I will need to pay for a plumber for the damage they caused.

Additionally, water continued to back up in the house. They did a horrible job and did not fix the water back up. I paid a lot of money for poor service! Poor quality!

I would not recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone. Do not use them!

Mr. Erlin, came around 9 PM on a Saturday night after Fox Valley Plumbing never called or showed. Erlin not only used this huge machine he helped clean up. He was very courteous and showed sympathy throughout this ordeal. He was a lifesaver, kudos to the work he hast to do.

Made an appointment online to have them come out on Sunday afternoon between 12 -2 pm! At 1:30 pm I called to get an eta, they said 30 minutes!
It is now 4pm and I called BACK and the rep says ""Oh the notes say we we're waiting to hear back from the homeowner ""! I dont know who runs this operation but they dont value customers time!! Ive had water seeping from a drain for 24hours and I see they are NOT reliable!!

Had deep kitchen sink clog. Ali was the technician and did a fantastic job. Very knowledgeable, friendly, explained everything on what to expect. Overall great experience. Extremely satisfied.

Don't use this company. I called, saying I believed my main line in the house was clogged, and explained the issue. A service tech came out within a few hours and couldn't unclog the line, saying we had a sludge buildup and needed hydro-jetting. I wasn't charged the $550 to clean the pipe; he quoted the hydro-jetting $1200-$1600. Ouch. They were a no-show for our 8 am-12 pm window the next day. Worse, their customer service was unbelievably rude and awful. When I called at 1 pm for an update, she said they were running late and gave me no timeframe for their arrival. At 4 pm, when my wife called, she was outrageously rude and unhelpful. She raised her voice to my wife when my wife said the job was quoted at $1200; the customer service person said the job would be $1400 minimum. At 6 pm the plumbers were still a no-show while our home was at a standstill with a plumbing emergency. At 6 pm, I called another plumber, and they quoted the same job at $950 and said they could be out in less than two hours. At 7:30 the Roto-Rooter plumber finally called he rudely asked me for his next job, mistakingly calling me rather than dispatch. I told him not to bother as we wouldn't be moving forward with the service and before I could finish my sentence he hung up. Use Tony's Drain & Sewer. You'll thank me later.

Jon was great. He went above and beyond to solve my problem with my shower cartridge , as well as doing all he could to keep my cost down. However be forewarned that Roto-Rooter charges $400 per hour and $175 minimum. Ok, I don't know the going rate for plumbers but that's up in the stratospheric range of what lawyers charge.

Most professional company I have ever dealt with. Customer service is horrendous. Receptionist Cheryl is the most ignorant individual I have ever had to deal with and I will go out of my way to tell anyone never to use this company
