I've been dealing with a house flood since Feb...yesterday both of my kitchen sinks backed up. After doing all the usual things to try and clear the clog, I finally had to cal RR. I was so fortunate, they had a technician that was available right away. Jarod came over and was so professional, polite, and eager to diffuse the situation. He worked tirelessly to find the clog while keeping me informed every step of the way. When he did find the clog, unfortunately it made him a mess. He made sure to not come in the house and his attitude never changed! So thankful he was my technician!!

Unethical and unprofessional company, at least the office I was dealing with. Scheduled them to troubleshoot and fix failed lift station. Their technician could not identified the issue. So, the next morning I scheduled a different company, which quickly came, identified, and fixed the sewer lift station. Their office is claiming the technician on call spent 3 1/2 hours. I was charged almost $500.00 for the ""visit"" and no work from Roto-Rooters.

These guys are so expensive. I usually pay my guy to clean my 35 gallon (small) grease trap for $75.00
He was out of town so I had to use Roto Rooter to clean the grease trap.
They charged me $365.00. I couldn't believe it. I called and tried to talk to someone about the charges, and was told that she would talk to her boss and let me know. I never heard a word back. I will clean my own grease trap before using this company ever again!

Clint gave good advice and instead of snaking my drains and having to charge me the full price he recommended I go with a conservative option of Roto-rooter pipe seal fluid first. I appreciated that because he could have easily snaked my drains (that were not clogged) and went about his day and got more $$ out of me potentially when it was not needed. Clint is very experienced and knowledgeable. This business has a customer for life because was my positive experience both with Roto-rooter where I moved from and now the one here in the Treasure Valley.

We live in McCall and tried for over a week to get someone local. We finally had to bite the bullet and pay the extra $350 to get someone from Boise area to come up.
Root-Rooter used a water pik and got the job done very quickly. Great service. The technician's name was Matt. His # is 162. We were very pleased. The promptness made the extra travel fee worth it.

That being said if anyone is looking to go in to plumping, McCall needs a plumber. Everything is so booked out.

Roto Rooter has been a joy to work with, specifically our tech Skye. He came out a few times and helped us to find a cost efficient fix for some issues my grandma was having at her house. He was super friendly and professional and got the job done quickly and done well. We will use this company if any plumbing issues arise in the future. Also, the girls on the phone were super friendly and easy to schedule with. I appreciate how quickly they got someone out to my grandma's house in an semi-emergency at the end of a normal business day!

I had an issue with my water heater recently. I noticed the problem at night and didn't want to risk the heater leaking all night. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent a plumber out. He offered to replace the water heater that night . The heater was only a year old so I wanted to wait until morning to see if it was under warranty. When the company who installed the heater came out in the morning they noticed that it was not a problem with the heater at all. It was the cold water intake pipe leaking. So they replaced the pipe which took about 5 minutes. My issue with Roto-Rooter is that they should known it was only a pipe. I paid $287 for the tech to come out. During that time he offered to replace the water heater twice. It makes me wonder if they were just trying to sell a new water heater. So I paid $287 to Roto-Rooter and they did nothing. I ended up having to pay the company in the morning $150 to fix the pipe. The way I see it that's $150 I wouldn't have had to pay if Roto-Rooter had fixed the pipe. I called Roto-Rooter twice and expressed my concerns. Each time the manager was not available but was going to call me back. I never received a call back.

Jacob arrived at 630pm on a Friday night to clear a stopped drain. He clearly explained the charges and went to work. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue, and did it still within the first hour preventing any overage charges. Professional and easy to work with.

We had just moved into our house when the water heater stopped working. Not having enough time to go through a thorough quoting process, we called Roto-Rooter in Twin Falls. They came out the next day (we agreed we would not go through additional charges for late night service), and installed a new water heater.
Unfortunately they neglected to protect carpeted stairs when removing the old water heater and left us with rust stains all over the carpet.
My call to let them know about their disrespect for our property remains unanswered, several weeks later.
It is very disheartening that a company with a national presence does such a poor job.

Good experience. I had a septic tank emergency early morning. Roto-Rooter changed their schedule to meet my needs and came out with in a 2 hours of calling and cleared out the problem fast so I could get on with my day.
