These guys are cooked as hell! Had them here on February 22nd, 2021. Cost over a grand for services and jetter. Called them back on the 18th of June for the same problem. Tom was great on first day, no charge because ""needed the jetter again."" He and some other guy came out again the following day. They claimed the ""jetter got stuck"" and said the ""ONLY thing that causes that is a collapsed line. Then they quoted us ""$4000.00 dollars a day, for 2-3 days""! WTF?!? Charged us $699.68 for the jetter they didn't even use! Still plugged!
Had a great man from Action Drain, Dimitri (I think), come out the next day to give estimate. He, as well as Bulldog Rooter guys, could not believe the ""estimate"" for ""2-3 days""! At any rate, Dimitri was able to run his camera down all the way to the main line, NO COLLAPSE in the line, NO DIRT, AND the drain was cleared by his camera alone!! No charge either!
I think these guys ar RR saw an easy mark with 3 seniors in the house and ripped us off with the charges as well as attempted to rope us into thousands of dollars to fix a ""collapsed pipe"" that WAS NOT COLLAPSED in the first place! Would not recommend to my worst enemy!
I will place signs on my vehicles, house, and yard, as well as take an ad out in the paper regarding this rip off until RR makes it right and refunds the money they stole through deceptive practices!
Called on Saturday and came on Monday. Charged 267 dollars for 1st hour and 120 dollars for every hour after that. They forgot they were sending someone that was training a trainee. What should of cost only 1 hour of work cost almost 600 dollars. They failed to mention that while training this person on the work and the paperwork, you get to pay while they sit outside and talk to each other while showing how to fill out paperwork.
I will not use this company again and I would not recommend, unless you like paying alot.
Water heater leaked on a Saturday and called roto rooter in Spokane. Spoke with Angela who was very nice. I sent her numerous photos of the unit including the serial number and 100 gallon capacity. She said she sent the photos to the plumber and sent me a quote. The following day the plumber was late and showed up with a 50 gallon tank. Wow. Called back and spoke to Jill who said she didn't know what happened but could reschedule me for the next day. No thanks. Very poor service
my entire water system was backing up into my tub, I called in on a Saturday and they where available Monday, days without being able to use any water, then they call and delay my appointment from the morning to the evening.
A guy came in and told me that he could not go to the access under my house and had to go in through my toilet, he was in my home for two hours and charged over $500 to unclog the pipe.
The next Friday water started to back up into my tub again, so I call and explain that I'm rather unhappy, they tell me they are going to charge me again and I am very upset, but I need my water to run in my house...
So another guy comes out, looks it over, can't figure out what the last guy did and how he thought it would be effective, he didn't believe it would be right to charge us as he wasn't able to get to the problem. So he told us that someone else would come out that night or the next morning to run a camera through the pipe.
So my Husband stays home the next day and they never show up, I called back after work that day and I'm handed off to a Manager that tells me that no they are not coming to run a camera they will only continue the job digging the pipe in my back yard and that it was going to cost $1,000 plus to do, I declined this and asked about the $500 I had paid for a service that didn't do anything other than delay the problem and he said he believed they had 'done their due' with that charge.
I am very unhappy, I ended up hiring a cousin who did it himself for less then $200, I would have been perfectly happy to pay the $500 if it had fixed the problem but it didn't...
The unprofessionalism and lack of care for the job was nuts...
Said they would be there between 2 and 4. Called twice when didn't show. Finally showed up at 5:30 then charged time and a half for after 5 p.m. work. Bait and switch. Rip off!
Michael E.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are not honest and some of their employees are not properly trained to do their job. I had them out 2 times. The first time the employee did not understand basic plumbing, was not able to repair the clogged shower and I was charged in full. I called to complain and they said additional work was required. I paid for them to come out again, they sent 2 employees out the 2nd time, redoing what the first employee, no additional work, and they charged me twice as much the 2nd time. I had to dispute the charges with my CC company. They were rude, the manager and owner, and never returned any of my calls.
Melissa M.Our downstairs flooded and we needed our sewer lines serviced. Taylor came out and was professional, friendly, and efficient. I'll recommend this business 100 times over. They came out same day to resolve our issue. Were in and out without hassle. The service was affordable and Taylor helped us understand our issue so we know how to prevent a flooding in the future. He deserves a raise. Thank you for helping us out in a very stressful time, we will be calling again for your assistance in the future.
Not impressed. Charged for 30 minutes looking for the clean-out because the service man insisted it would be easier than unplugging the toilet. Wouldn't turn the knob to turn off the water to the toilet because he wasn't a ""plumber"" and didn't want to break anything. When I questioned this, I thought I had called for a plumber, was priced for a plumber, he said he was part of the cleanout crew, not a plumber.
Hbk S.2 years ago my sump pump stopped working. They came and replaced it and spent $1500 great. After 7 months stopped working again. They forgot to change the valve which had clogs previously and they refused to say that it was their fault not changing it out from the first job which they should have, ended up spending another $900 to make it right this time. The plumber kept telling me it's our fault and accusing us, and blaming the previous work done (of course who else to blame).
Dan B.Do not call Roto Rooter! I had a clogged drain in a rental unit. They spent more time trying to upsell me than working on the clog. There were 5 phone calls from the technician and the office. I had a feeling I was going to get taken so I asked my tenant to let me know exactly when the technician was finished. It was exactly 1 hour and two minutes after my tenant said he started. Those two minutes were charged for another half hour at over $200 per hour! When I called to ask about to, I was told the manager would call me. Shocking, but I never got that call. After over a week, I finally called back and got the manager. He said my tenant signed the paperwork and that was it. Btw, I manage rentals and home rehabs full time. This was the worst experience with a subcontractor/vendor in a long time.
