Called about the drain in my basement not draining and they sent plumber, Zac, who came within a half hour of me calling. He was helpful and explained everything he was doing. He came to the conclusion he misdiagnosed the problem, and didn't charge me, noting his mistake. I was so appreciative of the fast, friendly, and honest service. I also called on a Saturday and found it fairly reasonably priced for the weekend.

Cancelled last minute/ didn't show up to 3 separate appointments causing me to lose time at work and still not even get a quote for a water heater replacement. Terrible business practice! On top of that the costumer service rep was very rude. Don't use them!!!

My ""main line""""overflowed"" Derrick and Joe showed up at almost the same time and got to work. Derrick on getting me flushing toilets again, Joe on getting my insurance to pay for cleaning up all the poopy water! WHO KNEW!!!??? These two are my hero's! I only regret that I didn't take the time to do this sooner! Everyone was very nice and professional. I was skeptical but everything I was promised was just as I was told. If you have a mainline issue get the Derrick and Joe team, or just plan on problems. They are the best! Oh and they are veterans as well!! How do you go from the blue water Navy to the plains of Nebraska???!!! GBR! I guess!

I called got a 2 hour window for service. Waited 1.5 hours and got a call saying all the plumbers were working on jobs ahead of me and would be another 2 hours. When I complained that I was given a time when I placed the service request, the dispatcher said ""that was an estimate"". Very rude. Would never use

Owner rep called back, continued to make excuses. Not a company I'd ever work with.

Called Sunday night for an appointment for Monday between 4p-8p for a leaking tub faucet, but immediately changed it to 12p- 4p before hanging up the phone. I took a half day from work to wait for the plumber, only to receive a call at 340p, saying they will not be able to come out and all the plumbers only work until 4p weekdays. Which was not told to me originally and was the original timeframe. I wasted my entire afternoon and PTO sitting here without any services. Roto Rooter was not able to help since I don't get home from work until 4p, I could have contact another company that would have come after 4p. Will NOT attempt to use them. Thanks for absolutely NOTHING!!!!!

Absolutely awful in so many ways. Total lack of communication, incompetent, overcharged and broke my pipe! They said they weren't liable because they can't see the pipes when they snake them - but the pipe they broke was exposed and clearly visible. They should have known it was galvanized steel and informed me of the likelihood of it cracking. After they unclogged the sink and told me about the cracked pipe, they tried to say it was my snake that broke it, but that crack wasn't there before they came. After all of this, the guy said ""you know those kind of pipes actually have this problem a lot"" - would have appreciated knowing that before starting the process and paying more than twice what it should have cost. Then he told me I should call a ""real"" plumber to come and fix the broken pipe. Thought when I called for a plumber they would have sent me one but I guess not. Save your money and frustration and don't call these people!

You guys are NOT a restoration service! You are NOT a certified mold inspecting company (you sent out a soil expert). You need to stick to just snaking drains. The timeliness of this company needs to be improved. It has taken at least 3 weeks not to get our house in order on the account of issues you have caused stemming from one simple plumbing error. I don't want your computer generated ""We value your service, we apologize for [insert issue]"" because that BS isn't going to fly.

Your workers act like they are new to the job and I hate that our house had to be the training house for your incompetent workers. At first they said all was fine in the downstairs [where the problem started] and somehow it travelled upstairs to our kitchen and to our family room which are both now torn to shreds. They said we could wash clothes after they worked in the family room but did NOT hook the hose back up and ended up flooding the entire room. They tore up the carpet [which wasn't even a year old yet] had industrial fans blowing for DAYS. The same happened in the kitchen where we were told we could wash dishes and they did NOT hook the hose back up under the sink flooding the kitchen. They completely destroyed our floor and pulled out the dishwasher blocking drawers that have our silverware.

As of now, we are still waiting to hear back from the mold person [WHO SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN OUR HOUSE] so that we can get a REAL restoration company to come and put our house together.

Long story short, we will NEVER use Roto Router again because you guys are not reliable nor are you professional in handling clients in a timely manner.

Called them to unclog a bathroom sink on New Years eve. The price wasn't low - it was $239 (minus a $40 coupon I downloaded from their site) - but the tech, Derek [tech #4394], was great and got it done quickly. He was super friendly and knowledgable, and he cleaned up after himself, which is more than I can say for the last guy I had out to clear a sink drain. The price was fairly high, considering he was there less than an hour, but also when you consider it was a Sunday and a holiday, it seems pretty reasonable.

I had roto rooter come out to snake my basement toilet. I usually have roots that need cleared on occasion. They charged $350. Two weeks later my basement plumbing was doing the same thing. I called roto rooter. They told me over the phone they could come out again at no charge. They arrived at my house and said there would be a charge. Because the problem was not fixed and they were going to charge me again for the same problem, I would not recommend this company.

Great service, fast and friendly. Service technician was personable and offered several options before we committed to an option. We also needed a technician to come quickly and we were able to get a technician the very next day.
