i'm sorry I would give these guys zero stars if I had the ability but I don't call them up. I simply wanted to send a photo or a short 10 second video clip of the problem. I'm having at the house with an outside faucet the lady who answers the phone unbelievable couldn't put me in touch with the technician so I could simply send a video clip or a quick photo of the actual problem to save everyone time and energy. Complete waste of time I don't think anyone should do business with them.

Responsive to ""emergency"", reliable and appears to respond on weekends. Courteous service.

**EDIT: Roto-Rooter reached back out to me after the service and apologized for the service delays. Their phone customer service has been responsive to my situation.** Garbage disposal wasn't working properly and the motor wouldn't turn. Scheduled a Roto Rooter between 8am-12pm. When I hadn't received a call by 1230pm, I rescheduled for that evening at 7pm. Once again after a plumber wasn't en route at about 730pm, I rescheduled AGAIN for the next morning between 8am-10am. The plumber showed up late outside the window at 1030am. He entered my home and pressed a small reset switch on the bottom of the disposal under the sink. It cost me $409 before taxes for the plumber to come into my home for less than 5 minutes and press that switch. No pro-rate or anything. I spent more time signing the paperwork than the plumber spent looking at my problem. Extremely disappointed that they charge like this for a super simple job, especially after they missed their scheduled service window 3 separate times.

Had our kitchen sink clogged. They came, snaked it and ""fixed"" it but only later on we found out our apartment pipe broke by what they did and damaged 2 units below us. We understand we did sign a standard waiver agreement before work done. We just wish with their experiences handling certain old houses/apartment buildings' pipes, they would know how to do the job right, with EXTRA CARE/ATTENTION maybe, or if they think the job would be too risky with old pipes, they could have said NO. They billed us $400+ for the work ""done"". When we informed them the pipe was now damaged, they came back, cut open our storage drywall next to the kitchen sink to see the damage and left a dehumidifer to dry off the water damage. They billed us $4,000+ for that. We paid those 2 bills without saying much. A few weeks later, a 3rd invoice of $3,800+ came in the mail with vague description stating: Black Water Category 3. This time, we let them know we are not going to pay it. Enough is enough already dealing with them. It's too much damage and money spent, and not a single word of sorry from their side, being shielded by the Waiver Agreement we signed. Additionally, thanks for that damage, we are now awaiting a settlement payment that we might have to pay $10,000+ out of our pocket to cover the difference between the AOAO Insurance Company huge increase of deductible amount of $25,000 and our own $15,000 insurance coverage amount Hard and expensive lesson we are taking here

On Saturday 8/13/22, I was out of town and my sister-in-law decided to fix a bathtub faucet leak which was dripping steadily. The tech Wyatt shows up with two other guys who he said were his helpers. So red flag #1, 3 people to fix a faucet leak at the already exorbitant plumber's rate. After assessing the work to be done and the parts needed, they send one of the guys to the hardware store. Red flag #2, according to my sister-in-law, the guy on the parts run is gone for quite some time. Mind you, there is an Ace Hardware 3 minutes from the house and City Mill another 2 minutes away. Meanwhile back at the house the other two guys sit around chatting waiting for the parts runner, of course while the meter is running. The runner returns and they resume their work. They say the job is finished and give my sister-in-law a bill for $1560.17. Now comes red flag #3. A family member decides to take a shower shortly after and notices that there is no hot water. A subsequent call to Roto Rooter sends another tech, Ben, who does a quick assessment of the shower and the hot water is restored. We have used this company for problems in the past and the results have always been satisfactory. I do not know why 3 people show up, charge us over $1500 in labor and don't even finish the job and check their work. I have also left a scathing review on rotorooter.com's customer survey and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to complain about the above practices.

I specifically scheduled a tech that had a camera to clear the clog in the tub. Got a call from dispatch that the tech would be onsite within 30-40 mins... 1 hr later, no tech or call from them. So I called dispatch to confirm if the tech is enroute and they said they will check on his status... 30 mins later, a different tech calls, BUT he's still on a job and he's not available for another 1.5 hrs. When I asked him if he had a camera, he said ""NO""... DUH?!?! The tech said he will call back to see if another tech with a camera is available. I *NEVER* got a call back from anyone from Roto-Rooter that evening. AVOID them if you can, a total waste of time!!!

I share the same experience with another person who left a comment. Called Roto-Rooter to ""just"" unclog my drain. They destroyed my flooring that is now fixed, I gave an extra star for the guy who helped out to put the claim in for my parents and guided us through the process. Why only 2 stars because after everything was installed, toilet and tub backed up again. The bill last time was over $600, so I tried another company Steve's I went with before, they didn't do any better, probably a worst job and cost us the same price. I'm glad someone commented about a company called rock o rooter, they charged half and finally figured out the problem. These big companies I guess favor more commercial properties because of the profit margin, if you want quality work, with a company that cares, you gotta go with a smaller company.

I scheduled two different appointments on two different days. No-one showed up either day. ""Customer service"" reps were rude. Total waste of time. No, I do not recommend.

There is no other company I will use when I need repairs! Easy to book and they arrive the next day. There is always someone calling to you update you on what's going on and when you're plumber is en route! I've used this company twice! First time to fix my clogged shower ($475) and the second time was the fix my clogged toilet ($329) with a discount the gentlemen had given me! Super helpful!!! I recommend this to everyone!! Thank you Roto-Rooter!!!

We called for emergency-John Martinez --the tech pulled a toilet/snaked drain--$1100-rip off//call a regular/local plumber-not a big scam company-w a sales man loser-/1 hour work? Roto Rooter are drain cleaners/not plumbers-beside if the techs were smart they wouldn't work a company-but them self /do not call this scam company
