Roto-Rooter left hundreds of dollars in damage in my closet and bathroom when repairing a broken water pipe in my walls. Their Orlando Manager, Joshua, told me they would refund me a portion of my final invoice once they were paid to pay for the damages. Their account department sent the refund check to my insurance company instead of myself, which my insurance pocketed. They have no intention of making the situation right or reimbursing me for damages left on my property. They will sell you on anything they can to get paid, then will not deliver on promises made. Their PR/HR manager which comments on all negative reviews doesn't actually respond to emails either. Also, most 5 Star reviews are all accounts with only 1 review. Clearly trying to inflate their overall review rating using dishonest methods. Avoid at all costs.

I had rota router come out for a main drain clean period the technician was here about 45 minutes. He ran a snake down my main drain. Found the plug and punch through it. As soon As the water began flowing, he was done. Three weeks later we had the same issue I called them Back and told them they did not do a good job. They told me there was no guarand left me with no choice but to call another plumber. He also ran a snake down the main drain. He also found a plug about the same area and punch through it. He then proceeded to have me flush the toilets with toilet paper. As he seen the drain filling up again, he ran the snake two or three more times Actually cleaning out the main drain. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I didn't want to give him any stars but I had to To get my review out

If I could give a -10 I would. Worst experience in my entire 62 years of living. James senior supervisor, worst attitude ever and deplorable work ethics. He made comments like """"you people"""". Came there demanding payment upfront, once he got paid. He started working in the bathroom, he brought in the electric snake. Had the audacity to go into my bedroom to plug his cord up, without my permission . James was very unprofessional, has a very crude demeanor and poor customer service etiquette experience. He was just as foul as the service he was performing. Would allow Roto- Rootor to clean out my doghouse, if I had one. Do not believe their slogan, about 24/7, holidays emergency services. James came out Saturday 09/02/23. I called and called them, Gavin finally arrived on Sunday, he was very delightful, but he wasn't able to fix the problem. I give him 5 stars for effort and customer service. He left an invoice no charge. James didn't leave one...HMMM! Monday morning """"Labor Day"""" I call and call, needless to say no one came out. Tuesday morning I call get a lady not listening, being rude. Brain comes out, escavation expert. Once we get in touch he tells me after his accessment. That it's outside of my fence so it's JEA problem to fix. Hole still in the pipe. Thanks JEA l can use water again. Clog is all gone.

If you want to be over charged, this is your place. Do yourself a favor and pick a different plumber. FYI talked to Pat before this review, they did nothing.

My 84 year old Mother had her kitchen sink back up on her so she called Rotorooter. They looked at it and said it would cost $449 to fix! Not talking about replacing the sink.... unclogging it! After she told them NO, i went over and fixed with a plunger. Shame on them for trying to take advantage of the elderly!!!!!

we had to call on a Sunday and I expected a higher rate. $449.00. A little high. But I was also told it included a free visit from Roto Rooter with the camera to go down and check the drain in the back? this was in early May. I was told they would call to schedule when the work order was put in the next day by the supervisor who comes behind and checks for water damage. I'm still waiting on a phone call and the problem just started up again. When you call, your call are routed through Maryland and they are operators who put you to a tech. a bit frustrated with Roto Rooter.

So it's easy to make an appointment. They come on time. The plumbers are professional. I've used them 2x. My only complaint, is that they are outrageously expensive.

We had a toilet problem tonight, and I called Roto router around 5:45 PM this evening. They gave me a four hour window and it dispatcher called me from New York to tell me that they were running late which was fine and now it's well after the four hour window and got a call from the same dispatcher, and when I told her that's not acceptable, she hung up on me so I would never use Roto router ever and their service is terrible and their customer service is even Worse

My water quit while in the middle of a laundry run on a Saturday-because nothing ever breaks on a weekday on working hours...... I contacted the 800 contact number (from Google) and they promptly answered, gave me a time window, and provided me with the technician's name. Dallas (4005) arrived well within the time frame they told me he would. He introduced himself and took a look after hearing what had happened. He diagnosed the problem easily and provided me with an estimate within a few minutes after assessing the need for parts. The estimate was well within what I had in mind (after researching on the web for similar repair costs in the area). Dallas is very professional and highly knowledgeable about his craft. He explained in detail what he was doing and went to work. His repair was solid and water was restored! I cannot say nicer things about this young man and his thoroughness in his work. Roto Rooter was also very good with the scheduling and keeping me up to date as to when Dallas would arrive, etc. I would definitely recommend Roto Rooter and in particular, Dallas, for any plumbing repairs or other plumbing work (he also alerted me to a possible future part replacement in my water system- I will definitely ask for him when the time comes!). Thank you Roto Rooter and Dallas!!

I am the Contracts Manager for a Government subcontractor on NAS Jacksonville. First, let me say I reached out to Roto Rooter Management to have a conversation about our experience a week ago today and I have received no communication back from Roto Rooter. I even reached out to their Customer Service Manager to no avail. When management doesn't care, it shows through to the customer service. We had a plumbing backup at one of the government buildings. We called RR out three times for assistance. After each visit, RR internally schedules a excavation team to come out and make sure they got all of the issue resolved. This is an awesome practice if it is communicated to the customer. The third day I called RR to have a plumbing crew come back out, I was told that I needed to speak with a manager. I asked why I needed to speak with a manager, and no one could provide an answer. I was told a manager would call me back within 1 hour, so I waited. An hour passed, two hours passed and no call. I called RR back and was told the same thing, but I wouldn't just go away so they transferred me from Customer Service to Dispatch. Let me note here that they are famous for transferring you to another person with no warning. The person transferring you hasn't told the other person they are transferring you to anything, so you have to start all over with what's going on. That's definitely poor customer service! Once I got transferred to the dispatcher, I was frustrated because it made no sense that I had to go through so much to get a plumbing crew to come back out. The dispatcher that I spoke with was rude and loud and his manager heard him and investigated. That's the only way I was able to speak with a manager because they continued to tell me that there was not a manager available that I could speak with. Speaking with the night ops manager is where I gained clarity regarding what was going on. He told me that I needed to speak with a manager to get an excavation crew. But I never once asked for an excavation crew. Never once did the word excavation come out of my mouth. The manager said, """"Oh, we can get you a plumbing crew out right away. Finally, after asking for help for over 3 hours at this point, I got someone to listen to what we needed and send a crew. The CSR and Dispatcher were going by whatever they had put in their system regarding the excavation that we never asked for and they refused to listen to our needs. As a professional and a manager, it is imperative that I listen to understand and comprehend the issue before I start running my mouth. I wish someone within RR would take heed to this lesson. After this experience, I would never use RR personally or professionally again and I certainly would never refer a headache to anyone. Learn from my headache and find a plumbing company that not only listens to your needs but one that when there is a problem and you reach out for assistance from their management team, their management team reaches back.
